For the most part they're great, but when I see lacking qualities on the face especially, it bothers me. Like with Movie 1 Ratchet's face.

Was there supposed to be a quote in there?

They both continue to look pretty good. I love the silver on Sideswipe, it's beautiful and will go well with Jazz

I just realized, that with a nice shade of blue paint, maybe a new head, that Sideswipe's mold could work for a movie Blurr. The tire wheels kind of remind me of Animated Blurr

Video Review of Transformers Studio Series #33 2007 Movie Bonecrusher

Looking forward to the next batch of Voyagers for the Transformers Studio Series? Well thanks to a helpful tip off from fellow Seibertron user, What's Crackin?, we've learned that YouTuber Ton Ton Review has uploaded a review of #33 2007 Movie Bonecrusher!

Also at the start of the video during the vehicle size comparisons you can see the new Studio Series #32 2007 Movie Optimus Prime in his Truck mode. You can see that Optimus is much brighter than the original SS Optimus Prime and has some real nice silver paint. His gun also stores in the back, instead of on the side like an image once showed. The windows are also much more clear than the Rotf figure. You can see prime at 2:01

Please check out TonTon's review below!

I wish the hips weren't so far apart and he was taller, but otherwise, he's looking great! My most anticipated SS figure of next year

oh man, the audio on the video is so weird. it's like, you can hear every single scrape of plastic-on-table, every click of joints, and even the traffic outside his house it seems. aw well, that's what the mute button's for i guess.

Well those reviews just continue to prove that I'm getting Sideswipe and Bonecrusher, and Barricade continues to get more and more appealing. My only deterrence is still how much I dislike his original face design. If Siege Barricade is ever properly shown off and is as low effort as it seems like he'll be, then I'll probably grab this Barry over that one, but until then, I'm undecided.

In other news, I don't remember if this was discussed on this thread yet or not, but since further proof of it's credibility just showed up today, I'm putting this here:
1543639770-new-toys-for-2019.jpg

I feel like a lot of talk about the DotM Prime happened when this showed up, but I don't think anyone said anything about the Voyager listings. KSI Boss seems like he'd obviously be a Nitro Zeus repaint/retool, given the previous usage of that name/designation. The "Hero" has me curious though, since it's both super nondescript and comes out earlier than all the other SS figures on the list. What Movie Autobots have we yet to get that would be Voyager-class? This figure could be the missing Hasbro number 31 or 38 if their Takara and Hasbro release times are similar enough.

At this time, the closest Autobot Voyager I think we have to get would be Sentinel Prime, but, blah. I hate that character, legitimately hate.

I think that's it. We got a good Hound in TLK and they seem to be grouping TLK figures into the line as representations for the 4th and 5th movie cast. So Sentinel really is the only Autobot I could think of.

Unless they are making a Canopy figure. But that would surprise me.

Most of the Autobot choices that could be made would be deluxe class: WWII Hot Rod, Jolt, the Wreckers, Mudflap and Skids, Que, and Dino.

Leadfoot could be a voyager? Just thinking in terms of mass, that stomach and the parts to make it could take up a voyager price point. Or maybe a new mold for a dinobot? Or possibly Bulldog/WWI Tank from TLK?

An idea... Couldn't this "hero" be bumblebee movie version of Optimus Prime?

Except we didn't get a good Hound during TLK. A reminder of what his TLK toy was like. Missing the upper back of his truck mode, most of the front of his truck mode is hanging wholesale to the backs of his legs, and there's no triple Gatling gun. The Movie The Best version fixed the third issue and somewhat fixed the first, but that was Takara only and it could be better. And they did an enhanced TLK Drift so why not a better TLK Hound?

Also, the Studio Series hasn't done Evasion-mode Optimus yet, or his AoE "Upgrade" body. And Evasin-mode Optimus needs a correct toy that's non-exclusive and available at US retail.

That AOE "Upgrade" body got a Voyager toy in TLK.

Yes, but Studio Series toyline =/= TLK toyline. So a Studio Series toy of it, whether a new mold or (more likely) just a deco tweak of the existing one, is still a possible release. It's not a release I'm especially hopeful for, but it could happen. Best-case scenario if it did happen would be it having retooled forearms to actually match Optimus' Battle of Hong Kong-onward appearance. The TLK Voyager actually has the arms of the intermediate upgrade body from before he retrieved the Sword of Judgement.

Thanks to a tip off from fellow Seibertron user, What's Crackin?, we've learned that YouTuber TonTon Reviews has reviewed another forthcoming Studio Series voyager class toy, this time it's #32 2007 Movie version Optimus Prime! This toy is a redeco and a retool of the Revenge of the Fallen Optimus Prime that released as part of wave 1. You can see that the new Optimus Prime is bigger than the previous release. You can see this and more differences between the two figures in this new review, including several comparisons.

Remember, it's this version of Optimus Prime that combines with the soon to be released Leader Class Jetfire.

We've embedded the video here for your convenience:

He is taller than SS-05! I’m waiting for the rumored DOTM Optimus, but if that doesn’t pan out I’m totally ok with this one.

Nice. Really didn't expect him to be taller this time. The size on the first one didn't bother me much until Ironhide came out and made him look too small so this new one's height increase is welcome. I like that you can see the truck window visor parts peeking at top of the chest windows now which you couldn't on the old one. Think the only area the figure got downgraded is that the piece on the lower legs which folded down over the remaining lower wheels no longer does. Other than that it's a huge improvement.

Swipey, Barry and Boney all look great too. Gonna be spending a fair chunk of money start of 2019 it seems. :)

Prime is a huge improvement. Taller, proportions look better, colors look better...I might actually pick this version up.

Bonecrusher is still a disappointment though. He already only comes up to the first SS Prime's belly, he's going to look even shorter next to the second version.

That Bonecrusher review... man, that battle of Prime and Boney from the 2007 movie still looks far better than anything I saw in the new Bumblebee film today. Bonecrusher figure size looks decent to me too. If you want bigger though there is a third party one that's pretty huge. This Studio Series version looks fine to me and will be bought with the rest of this wave. :D

So far, I haven't bought a single SS deluxe. Maybe because I keep my TF purchases to a minimum and/or it really bum me out to buy "ordinary movie deluxes" at 30$.

Do they not have them on reduced price anywhere there? I bought most of mine for typical RRP (and in a few cases more including Jazz and Lockdown at £30 each when the RRP is £23, just so I could have them a bit earlier) but The Entertainer here in the UK has been selling wave 1 and 2 Deluxes for about £16 each. Is how I got Stinger recently (and liked it way more than I thought I would). :)

The only one that I would be willing to pay for, but at 50% off, is SS Jazz. And he was just like a drop of water in a hot pan localy. And no way am I gonna pay full price nor ordering it online. I still feel the burn from that 55$ TLK Cogman (still available everywhere like roaches at 15$) :BANG_HEAD:
