Anyone else notice the wing guns look suspiciously like Rumble/Frenzy's all the way down to how they fit on his back?

The direction the wing is swept is reversed though.

I’ll never have enough mini-Shockwaves. He’ll look much better next to the other Core Class figures I’ve got than the Bumblebee inspired SS Shockwave.

Spark armor Shockwave isn't actually that bad. he has some nice sculpting, the best spark armor, and I even made him fan-mode into a cybertronian hover tank. Sadly no waist or head swivel, but still the most articulated that the other spark armor figures. Also slightly taller than core class because Cyberverse scale is weird. :PLAYSKOOL: :KREMZEEK: :KREMZEEK: :KREMZEEK:

He was talking about the Core class Bumblebee Movie Shockwave in Studio Series.

Legacy Core Class Wave 2 Found in China

Pictures have surface on the Chinese site Tieba of the second wave of Legacy core class figures found at retail. It is our first look at the entire wave in packaging, which includes Shockwave, G2 Megatron and Optimus Prime. Now that we know these are reaching retailers in the east, we'll see how long it takes to reach retailers in the west. Unlike the rest of wave 2, these have not been revealed by Hasbro. Most probably because these days reveals are accompanied by preorders. With these being more to provide a budget option to parents than complimenting the rest of the line in the same scale, the core class is seen more as shelf fodder than the other classes. Would you still want an official reveal from Hasbro if there is no accompanying preorder? And do you even need a reveal now that we have images of them found in the wild? Let us know!

They really could have done something special with the core Optimus repack, but the rest of wave 2 is neat.

Not only would I want a reveal, but I also want pre-orders too. The Core class is no longer priced as shut-up toys for kids, so they should be treated as the integral parts of a wave that they are.

They should've done Optimus in the other black deco so people could really get wound up.

From the looks of it, but that ruins the meta-ness of the figure; G2 Megatron is 100% like the original G2 figure, being a tank and all, with an added throwback to G1 that would have been perfect if that gun was colored grey. :-D

They did: it's an homage to G2 Optimus Prime ;)

Speaking of G2 Prime, I got mine in and it is awesome. When it was first shown I was super excited, then seeing how small the legs looked( I wanted them to look more like Legacy Bulkheads) and how the shoulder missle pods werent articulated, I didnt think I would buy one. Then after seeing a couple reviews, I changed my mind. He is pretty sweet and one of my top fav Prime designs. Also it ends up he is really posable and the shoulders dont hold him back. For sure gonna have to paint his eyes though.

For me, it's somewhere in the middle. I see Drag Strip and Kickback coming and going. They'll be there one day, gone the next, back again, gone again, and so on. Meanwhile, my Walmarts have pegs for the Legacy Beasts, but are either always empty or have the wrong items put on them (like Vintage BW Cybershark or the normal Legacy Deluxes), but no Legacy Beasts themselves.

Today is the first time I saw the Legacy Beastie Boys as well, the pegs have been there for weeks but this is either the first time my Walmart has gotten stock for them or the first time I've managed to catch any before they sold.

I've searched for Legacy at 4 stores across 2 states and have seen the following so far:
Target in Washington: Arcee, Skids, Kickback, Bulkhead, Leaders, Exclusives (Silverstreak)
Walmart in Washington: Core Class, Voyagers, Exclusives (Beastie Boys)
Target in Idaho: Deluxes, Bulkhead (don't recall if there was stuff for Silverstreak)
Walmart in Idaho: Deluxes, Blaster (no pegs for Beastie Boys)

EDIT: Changed to include what I saw at Target today.

What's the opposite of the opposite?

Because the only Legacy I ever saw at my Walmart are the 1st wave of Cores and Bulkhead.

For me, there is Legacy's first wave at all my neighboring Walmarts, every character. Either they sell out and are restocked constantly or they simply are not selling (pretty certain it's the later).
But the Legacy beasts have not been seen in Canada yet.

Did you still get it though? I totally get it if there is something missing but if not and you are going to take it out of the box, does it matter?
