Except this would have been named "Soundwave", not "Soundblaster".

Didn't the original Soundblaster and Twincast have remolded doors or something?

Yeah. Both Soundblaster and Twincast were retooled slightly so they could store up to two cassettes. Otherwise, the only other differences from their parent molds were the decos.

Care to specify?

Same deal. I didn't even look in their general direction, much less touch 'em, I was so disappointed by the line's collective gimmick. The only one I legitimately thought was a good one was the Japanese version of Air Raid (minus the MechTech weapon, of course).

I wonder how many the seller has? As they have listed another.
Glad I got mine when I did, as the last auction to end was getting up to nearly twice as much as I paid for mine.

He has listed a new starting bid of $100.00 vs $60 that he has used in the past. As for how many he has, that would be interesting to know. I do believe they are the only ones that carry them though after my extensive searching.

I haz the Soundwave and Que, Soundwave's great, better then the Human Alliance in my opinion.

Not to crazy of my Que's colours and head, the Wheeljack version looks a lot better.

Damn, I didn't know Bart Smit had them, otherwise I wouldn't have to buy them online.
I got them for a good price when they were just listed so no big loss here.

I just whish they didn't use the 2 leader slots on Bumblebee and Ironhide but on Megatron and Shockwave.

Otherwise the DOTM line isn't to bad, just the worst of the 3 movie lines :D

I never said that, merely that it would be a possibility however unlikely it may be. All I saw in overstock was Autobot Armor Topspin, so at least Dark Steel, Air Raid and possibly Track Battle Roadbuaster could have been sighted elsewhere as well. Anything beyond those waves is still possible, but in the air.

Canceled stuff makes it onto ebay quite frequently. Wouldn't it be more of a waste for the seller to hold onto the samples they have?

There were a lot of disappointments for me with the DotM line, namely no leader Megs or Shockwave, no deluxe Dino, no legends Lazerbeak, and no voyager Dreds. Could've done with a new voyager Ratchet mold, too. So many missed opportunities. However, after finally giving in and importing deluxe Soundwave, Que, and Leadfoot, and ordering Amazon's Jetwing Prime, slapping them all with Reprolabels, I think my DotM shelves look REALLY impressive now. On one shelf I have deluxe BB facing off against deluxe Soundwave, while deluxe Ratchet and Que face off again deluxe Barricade. On the other, I have deluxe Sideswipe facing off against leader Sentinel Prime while Jetwing Prime and all three wrechers charge in for backup.

My opinion is that the DotM line is not as good as RotF due to smaller sizes, MechTech gimmick, fewer paint apps, and that the line really is incomplete. But the only DotM molds I have that I'm not crazy about are Roadbuster and Soundwave. It really bugs me that they have back kibble that hangs down to their knees. TF engineers are better than that. Really happy with everything else that I have from the line, though. Voyager Ironhide is really underrated.

I'm working on it as we speak.

I'd like to know as well. It'd be great to add this figure to the galleries here on Seibertron.com for everyone to enjoy.

I bought mine on ebay from the seller whose auctions have been linked in this thread. If you message them directly, you can probably arrange a BiN (that is what I did).

Alternately, I'll be glad to lend it to you once I get it and take my own pics :) Hit me up on PM if you wanna do that.

Looks like I got my hands on #056. Those of you who also get your hands on one please post your numbered Soundblaster here.

Seibertron.com member Transformers Hoarder dropped by the Energon Pub to share images of his recently acquired unreleased Transformers Movie Trilogy Deluxe Soundblaster. The figure was originally intended to be released along side repaints of Bumlbebee, Wheeljack (with G1 style head), and Ratchet as MechTech Wave 7, which would have been part of the aforementioned Movie Trilogy line. Images of the proposed line where shown during Hasbro's panel presentation at NYCC back in 2011. The line was ultimately scrapped with only the deluxe Optimus Prime with Trailer seeing the light of day on retail shelves. Enjoy Transformers Hoarder's images below.

Pretty cool looking figure even with the horrible back kibble. I probably would've picked one up if it came out, no way in hell id call it soundwave though id have to rename it like i do with most of the movie figures.

Ill laugh if these things start showing up in TJ Maxx next year. With all the repaints Hasbro shoots out of it's anus, there's bound to be a few pallets of these things gathering dust in some warehouse. Same thing for deluxe Leadfoot with the Target symbol. They just haven't been snuck out yet by crooked employees.

I was able to get the regular DotM Soundwave, and wasn't impressed, at all.

This one looks a little nicer, but still not a fan of the mold. Shame really.

To be honest though, most of the line was comprised of large amounts of fail. Particularly the MechTech weapons. >:oP

Not sure all theses photo's were needed  but what ever it's 8) For me all that's wrong with this mold is the back pack it's an awesome repaint very evil looking. I too find it very strange these are seeing the light of day :-? i know this has become a rare figure since its ebay debut but i can't help think it's gonna get a retail release and i for one will hold off from paying those ebay prices .

That would take a whole miracle considering these were never even mass-produced, much less even packaged. These eBay ones are loose factory samples.

I could, in principal, see the REGULAR versions showing up on this side of the Pacific eventually... Yeah, I know, it's wishful thinking at best. It sucks that they shelfwarmed in Asia while we never even SAW them.

But, then again, there IS another movie line in the works, and it wouldn't surprise me to see some redecos.

Remember the "rare" ROTF red Rampage and Evac that wound up in TJ Maxx ? Maybe these might not have been packaged, but the fact that these have such nice tampos leads me to believe there's a hidden stash in some warehouse. Maybe the guy only took a dozen so it wouldn't be noticed. I'm sure that Bumblebee will pop up soon as well.

Those were mass produced, and therefore could show up in stores. I even saw the red Rampage at Kmart and Walmart a few times.

These Soundwaves, however, are merely finished factory samples that aren't fit for brick-and-mortar standard retail sales. No mass production or packaging = no TJ Maxx.

I wouldn't so no to that. There are far too many molds that have been missed in the US market over the past 5 years. They've got to have something up their sleeves or else Hasbro just doesn't want to make money. I don't believe the latter so I believe the former will happen and in ways that aren't expecting. We've seen too many rules to "traditions" broken to count out opportunities like certain figures getting a release at some point that we never thought possible.
