Am I missing something but how is this new news? I have had the smaller Bravo Class Grimlock for weeks now, I have never seen this Alpha class one in stores.

The small ones are 6 while the large ones are 10-12 at family dollar

They're that much? Huh. I was always under the impression they were 7 to 8.

Huh. You don't get much for a buck anymore.

Wait they cost HOW MUCH?

Whoa, you don't get much for that either, apparently.

Considering they are cheaper and bigger then their more advanced brethren in the Siege and Studio Series line, I think those that are on that budget level will be thankful.

Transformers Authentics Titan Changers Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron revealed!

On the German Brandora website, we have some images of the never before seen Transformers Authentics Titan Changers, branded for Generations! Titan Changers are large, very simple Transformers, with limited articulation and paint, for a low cost, and were often sold for the movie lines and Robots in Disguise '15. The characters utilize Emiliano Santalucia's evergreen design, which have been used previously for Authentics, as well as the Cyberverse cartoon!

The characters presented are Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Bumblebee, all who were set to release in May 2019, though none have shown up yet. While there is no set price, you think these toys are worth it for kids? Tell us your general thoughts in the Pub forums below.

I'll be blunt. Those look like TRASH in all modes. However, if they are solidly built, cheap, and big, those will be pretty damn awesome for lil' Jimmy's first Transformers.

Megatron's tank mode looks a lot better than what I first expected on seeing his robot mode.

New Evergreen Styled Optimus Bumblebee and Megatron 10" Tall Transforming Figures Found in Canada

Walmart Canada has some new toys that, to the best of my knowledge, no one saw at retail before. These are new Titan Changer figures part of the Authentics line. They are leader sized but at the deluxe price. So very simple, yet big and inexpensive for younger fans to have a big transforming toy that they can transform by themselves and that wont break the bank. The three characters offered were Megatron, Optimus and Bumblebee. These use the Evergreen designs we have seen in the past, it is the same style which the Cyberverse character models are based off of (along with some characters at the tale end of the previous IDW continuity). You can see a comparison to other Optimus toys, one deluxe and one voyager sized.

They were 19.99 CAD, meaning probably closer to 15 USD if ever they are found in the US. it is unknown if they are exclusive to Walmart in Canada, but that is the first place these were found. You can see images of the toys along with their transformation schemes below.

I feel like I have seen these before, maybe on another website? Megatron's mold-lined arms look awfully familiar.

These are ugly as sin. Still, leader sized AND 10$can cheaper than a regular deluxe? This is brilliant and young kids will indeed have a blast without making the parents curse.

Seen at Walmart: A mom is handling the G1 Optimus. "This look neat! My kid will love it. How much is it? 70$!!! WTF?" The mom then put it back in disgust.

Strange and wonderful how these things keep popping up under the radar. I'll have to hit some dollar stores and Big Lots next time I'm out and about just to see if they've turned up south of the border. (the Canadian border, that is)

My gut tells me we'll see Starscream in the 7" scale too, complete the set and all that.

Dohohoho!
The funniest thing is "leader" is accepted in the French language and changing it to "chef" was unnecessary.

New Transformers Authentics: Alpha Soundwave, Bravo Ratchet, Titan Changers Starscream and Grimlock

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian Fc203, we have news that the Transformers Authentics line at the Family Dollar, which has given us some nice Transformers, has some new reveals that will be hitting the shelves here very soon.

Up first is the smallest class, the Bravo class, which up until now had featured Grimlock, Starscream, Megatron, Optimus Prime, and Bumblebee. The newest figure to join this class is Ratchet, who is also in his evergreen design and hues very close to his recent Cyberverse Spark Armor toy. He will be available along with the rest of the previously released figures.

Next is the Alpha class, which featured Grimlock, Optimus, Bumblebee, and Megatron. The newest addition to this class is Soundwave, who also hues close to a recent Cyberverse toy, in this case the Warrior class figure. He will also be available with his fellow previously released figures.

And finally, we have the Titan changer, the larger figures that transform in a couple of steps. Previous members of the class included Megatron, Bumblebee, and Optimus, and they are now joined by Grimlock and Starscream.

All of the new figures are most likely on their way to stores now, so keep an eye out for these latest Authentics figures, and let us know if you spot them!

I know these Authentics figures should have lowered expectations, and some of them look decent, but Titan Grimlock looks embarrasing while Soundwave has a puny visor. Still, these would be neat for a stop motion where a universe of goofy G1 characters exists.

I would love to see that Soundwave as a Deluxe or Voyager.

"Puny visor" seems like a pretty minor nitpick for what is otherwise a decent-looking Soundwave. As for Grimlock, Titan Changers are a Leader-sized figure for around half the price of a deluxe, so yeah, your expectations might be too high.

These look fantastic, is it too early to start naming toy of the year? I'm still waiting on an Alpha Starscream.

Where they have been previously?

soundwave looks neat! i actually dig the cyberverse (or evergreen) style of soundwave, but never picked up the warrior class due to lack of neck joint. this one seems to solve that. if i saw him around my area for the same price as the rest, i'll definitely pick it up.
