My memory might be failing me but did any of the cartoon models have faction symbols?

It's not perfect, but much better than the official transformation.

Woah, that's a massive improvement. As long as it doesn't affect his arm articulation, this single-handedly fixes my biggest problems with Galvatron.

Amazing what a properly transformed figure looks like.

I'm not sure I'll buy this one, just because it seems so Lazy and I do have the original release, but I am wondering if the Red Card Exclusive will mean scalpers won't be able to pick them all up at once when they go on sale.

It's not hard to get a Target Credit Card. I have one and they keep asking me every time I go shopping there...even when I whip the card out!

That absolutely makes a difference with his overall appearance!
I really wish the color of the battle damage was his main color (and that there was no battle damage at all), but he looks really good. I cannot wait to get this guy!!!!

The Beast Mode colour palette reminds me of Marvel's Devil Dinosaur..

Image

The Bot Mode deco though... Meh. Not a fan of the dull grey.

The new one butchered the original's deco.

The gold was dulled down to almost gray, the two different blues were reduced to being the same color, the helmet was left red instead of copper, and there was little attempt to put the bright pink into the color scheme...They seem to have missed the charm of the original deco.

To say nothing of the original glossy deep blood red now changed to a flat pinkish-red.

Probably one of the worst redecos I've seen in a long time. Who thought it would be a good idea to dilute the entire colour scheme of the original figure?

A rant of my own:
Sabrblade wrote:I just opened my Leader Megatron from Hasbro Pulse today and good gravy is his transformation an absolute mess of panels that just refuse to stay in place. He's like the worst of the overengineered ROTF toys, and I say that as one who liked the ROTF toyline (the movie not so much). And that soft rubbery plastic is SO going to dry out and wither away that it's practically on borrowed time right out of the box.

After experiencing that awfulness, and coupled with the fact that this new T-Wrecks toy has downright butchered the original toy's deco, I may just track down a vintage T-Wrecks in direct protest of this new one, just like when I went straight to eBay and bought a Legends LG15 Nightbird Shadow when Selects Nightbird was first unveiled as a retool of Siege Chromia (another mold I loathe).

After all, in all of his fictional appearances, T-Wrecks was drawn toy-accurately with the battle mask halves on his head and the tail claw as his actual arm in lieu of a normal hand, so this new one is even less accurate in that regard.

Sabrblade wrote:If anything, I'm gonna put Megatron back in his robot mode and may never transform him into his garbage beast mode again. At least the robot mode is somewhat nice, but I was also disappointed to learn that his tail weapon is permanently affixed to his arm and cannot be removed as a separate accessory. Another knock against this figure.

But his damage is coloured blue, like the colour he has in the 86 film

At this point, in light of the T-Wrecks images. I dread to think what that Jurassic Park redeco is going to look like. :-?

Finally found wave 2 deluxes today, and brought home Ractonite. I haven't opened him yet, but still, it was nice to see them actually come in stock. Now I only need to spot a Voyager Inferno, (and to a lesser extend netflix Soundwave) and I think I'm caught up with what is currently released across all lines.

I'm just gonna put this Reddit link here.

Click it, check out the video. I tried to look up the product on Amazon.com.au but I don't get any results. But it does confirm a few Kingdom and other rumored figures, if legit.

I am looking forward to seeing that... While I may not like it better than this current/first version, there is a chance I’d get the redeco... I can envision it looking really cool.
It’s probably going to depend on what I can find in stores from my current “want list” as well as what I end up passing on from my “maybe” list.
But I think I would like him to be my first Selects figure... And especially with my tax refund & the last stimulus check, the $$ definitely isn’t the main factor.

Scroll down a bit until the broken images start manifesting. Most of these listings have existed internally for months but are only just now becoming public.

There's a lot a strange ones here. Project Bat ("oversized man bat with cloth wings"),

some of the rumoured Pulse SG line,

a "Galvaltron Unicron Figure Pack"

Friday's gonna be very very interesting if this is anything to go by.

Also every description is dank in its own beautiful way:

WOW Can't believe that Galvatron is ushering in a new Cybertron reboot toyline! :KREMZEEK: :KREMZEEK:

I'm taking everything here with a heaping pile of salt (I'm basically going to pretend I haven't seen anything here unless we get more solid confirmation), but I would be lying if I said my lizard brain didn't temporarily get very excited when I saw that.
And also go off to listen to the Cybertron theme a couple times
