I bought and returned the PotP Shrapnel. I felt the older release blended better with the other Insecticons.

Not as far as I know but you can peg a Prime Master's decoy suit in weapon mode into the 5 mm peg on his back in insect mode like you can with Reflector.
...or just use it as a weapon in robot mode...like Reflector.

OK that's what I thought. I didn't remember any changes and didn't see any myself. I liked the PotP yellow better but the purple was a weirdish bluey purple. It didn't match any of the other Insecticons where the T30 Skrapnel is sorta split the difference shade between the other two. I'd recommend tracking down the T30 Skrapnel over the PotP one any day.

Same as Slash. Personnaly I still believe they're not supposed to be attached in robot mode, but as folded mode (not sure if there's a name for this), the same they attach on arm or feet armor, in order to power them up, as described in the card.

They are robots so maybe their legs can bend into the other direction, as well

You can put a Prime Master in spark mode onto Roadtrap's chest because there are the pegs for the PM from vehicle mode.

The Target nearest my home has their PotP reset completely done, but very few toys, just a couple Deluxe & Legends. They must really be sticking to that "street date". Seems odd to have all those empty pegs and shelf space for no good reason. Meanwhile, TRU continues to have the same, though I did notice they were doing their annual inventory (RGIS tags everywhere) but No Voyagers or Leaders in sight. I'll probably check a Walmart or two later this week.

At the moment, I am not really *missing* any. I just want to see the Voyagers and Leaders at B&M, which I have yet to. I have the 3 Prime Masters, and Slash. The others that I want I'm on hold for until announces their plans for Volcanicus and any future Combiners/ Voyagers. I should get Jazz since I know he is being sold separately in Japan, but he's easy enough to find currently.

Trust me, once the reset hits, everything is put out, if it isn't there, they don't have it, if they don't have it, it wasn't sent to them, if it wasn't sent to them, it's because there wasn't enough to supply every store, which either means there weren't enough ordered, or (more likely) there weren't enough made yet to go around

I checked the DPCI's for my local store, and it states they have all price points in stock, but they were not on the shelves, save for a couple Deluxe and Legends. Street date or not. we have the fact that there is product in the stockroom, that is not on shelves, for some reason.

They were removed late last week, it was a mistake to begin with, but I guess I should have added in 'anymore' since I guess you need to split hairs over this. Now there are no problems getting tehm, other than patience, point is you were inferring there were street dates while at the same time referring to the voyagers and leaders - which did not have any to begin with. So my point is still valid.

And my point still stands, that if the bulk of the new toys are in the store but aren't located in the backroom, then they are likely in the rafters and still inaccessible to anyone. They usually aren't pulled down until all the aisles are revised, because the pallets consist of unsorted stock and getting them all down before all the aisles are revised would mean there would be a ton of toys sitting around, cluttering up the backroom.

But beyond all that, you aren't even planning on buying the voyagers? You're just making this scene because you want to see them sitting on a shelf?

It's not a lie. I can attest to the fact that at the Target store I visited on 12/31/2017, Power Masters were on the shelf, but they wouldn't ring up at the register, because they were marked with a street date of "04/20/2018." The manager on duty couldn't do anything for me. When I tried again the same day at the same store, most of the PotP stock that had been there the night before was pulled off the shelves, except for a couple of Deluxes. All the Prime Masters were gone when there had been two pegs full previously. When they checked on the Prime Master inventory, it was still marked as "04/20/2018" and put back in the stock room. Again, they didn't know why that was or how to fix it. There is a street date F'up, but it's limited to Target (possibly only that Target I went to or my region) and it only concerned the Prime Masters, as I bought all the Legends and Deluxes I wanted that first night and both Leaders the next day.

Yeah, I also pointed out that that was addressed and fixed (likely when the planograms called for a street-dated toy to be put out and it was sent up the chain of command) if you really need those pile of **** primemasters, you can go get 'em once they're on the shelf, if they're not there, you can always ask to see if they're located in the backroom

Hey man not everyone works at Target and is privy to this information. If you knew all this about the street dates then the helpful thing would've been to post here about it instead of attacking other members that didn't know.

To be fair, Hellscream did PM me when the street date dropped on the Prime Masters. Unfortunately, they've still not been put back out on the shelves in my area.

I would import the Takara version of Jazz if it did indeed lack the Cybertronian "MAGA" reference. It's gross. Keep politics off of my toys, please! I'm hoping that Hasbro will have a revised version of Jazz out, either in later production runs for wave 1 or by the time Jazz is refreshed in a future wave later this year or next.

My apologies, I should have clarified, it was my intention to purchase Jazz in the near future now that we know Jazz is being sold separately.

Just slightly OT...but I'll just quickly relate, the most "un fun" shopping experience I ever had as a child was going to a store called Service Merchandise. It was basically just a large warehouse, with a customer-service counter. You picked what you wanted out of a catalogue and they brought it to you (probably the grandfather of online shopping).

Now while online shopping can be convenient, knowing you will get what you want, I am still old school. I miss the days of seeing TRU filled with great toys I wanted. If wanting to see toys on shelves, simply because I enjoy the sight of them is a crime, I apologize. I submit myself for whatever punishment is due me.

I intend to purchase all Prime Masters, Legends that have a corresponding combiner, or in the case of the "Duocons" are themselves combiners. I do not plan on purchasing any Leaders because they do not fit my plan for this line (again I'd just like to see them though...), and any Deluxes that does not plan to use with a combiner.
