Same here. Having to save almost everything up for Unicron meant putting this on the back burner, so another run was my only hope.

Funny how every attempt by anyone to reproduce the W Cassettes results in such limited numbers that their prices ultimately skyrocket near the range of the originals.

Gladder than ever I got the KOs back when I did, if the official reissue is doomed to be permanently limited, since one or two more fans holding out for this will own the ones I otherwise would've bought, and I still got mine from almost a decade ago. CHMS and KOTOYS, your actions now seem more heroic than ever, saving this subspecies from extinction.

Here's hoping HasTak make me eat those words by somehow reissuing this reissue someday soon, along with Slamdance and Squawkbox. Until then, my CHMS Classics Seekers will raise a 20-something gun salute in honor of fallen.

Perhaps they should cancel the orders for those @$$holes already reselling them on eBay at 100% markup.

Why is Frenzy in this set when people could get him for $20 at Wal-Mart.

Why didn't they re-issue say: Overkill and Slugfest (two Decepticon dinosaur cassettes), Squawk Talk and Beast Box (a bird and gorilla who could combine into a "larger" robot), or Ratbat and Flipsides, Enemy and Wingthing (the latter 3 being Japanese repaint exclusives).

I made an order when they initially went up and already received it. I decided to order a 2nd set to keep NIB and that order got canceled. I'm guessing they canceled all the late orders. This is really unacceptable that a company this big can't learn inventory...

I guess this is why Hasbro and Walmart work together...

I just got a reply from Hasbro’s customer service and they indicated that some of their stock came unexpectedly damaged therefore they would not be selling them and canceled some orders.

Well, I guess that is a pretty darn good reason for the cancellations

I'm surprised, look up the on site reviews for the SDCC Luke Skywalker vintage set, it's all complaints over how the set was packed. When I got the Refraktor set it was the first time I got anything from them with air bladders.

Well, I opened up my cassettes and the 2 dinos seem ok. I don't plan on displaying them combined, so not too upset about the stability issues. I already have like 4 or 5 other Frenzys, but since it was already open I popped him out too. He has a defect with the spring that allows his head to pop up after transforming. His head is permanently tilted to one side of his shoulder. Looks damn funny if you ask me. I contacted customer care and didn't expect them to have any replacements given all the discussion here. So they are sending me a free random Transformer. I can't wait to see how cheap they go with it!

Great QC Hasbro, as always.

Colour me surprised, Amazon picked up the Noizu and Gurafi exclusives for Canada. These are the dino cassettes from the G1 era that were reissued and only available at Hasbro Pulse (and quickly sold out). The three pack consists of Frenzy, Noizu and Gurafi and you can buy them on Amazon.ca for $49.99 CAD (about $38 USD).

The listing on Amazon.ca says it will not ship to the US when I select it as my delivery address. Hope you have a friend in Canada!

Is that handled through the site or is it a third party service?

Third party service. Just google ways to get items only sold in canada.

Damnit! I finally got around to opening my Graphy and Noise (sorry, I reject their transliterated names for the Hasbro market) set from Hasbro Pulse this evening, and wouldn't you know it, Graphy's got two left (or right?) gun/armor/chromed things. They should be mirror images of each other, but they're both exactly the same sculpt. That means, they only fit right on one wing tip in beast mode and one foot in combined mode. I don't know if I can get that fixed at this point. I bet Hasbro Pulse is out of any "customer service" stock by now. :(

Even worse, Graphy's neck joint will not hold up the Noise half of Decibel in combined mode. He literally just bends over backwards. >.<
