A lot of my movie toys will get some love and focus over the next couple months. I have a big move coming up in 4 weeks now and they are all gonna need packed and unpacked, and when they are unpacked, they will have a whole new room all to themselves, much more room to display and enjoy

There you go. I definitely know how it is to pack up a collection. To have a room dedicated for them, that much more exciting. When we working looking at houses, the wife was beyond supportive to ensure there was a "transformers room".

I think it's high time we acknowledge that this toy is actually pretty dang cool and fun. i got him out today for work at random, and he just feels and looks good. I missed playing around with him, and feel like he isn't appreciated enough. I did like this design, and I hope SS goes after it to give it another go

I think it's less that people hate the figure itself per se and more that they hate Galvatron's bot mode and bullshit "transformation", which leave it no choice but to be a shellformer. A Leader-class might have been able to pull off a non-shellformer transformation in spite of that (looking at UT Nero), but not a Voyager. A Studio Series effort wouldn't be any less of a shellformer (since it would be forced to be a Voyager), but it might fold the shell up more compactly

I still love this deluxe class figure. Sure, it isn't movie accurate at all, but it's fun as an IDW/TLK crossover figure. The head is also really nice, as are the colors!

While DotM may have been a step back from the greatness of the RotF toyline, it sure gave us some great deluxes.

In all honestly, I'm seriously wondering if the SS Topspin can top(spin) the original, that deluxe was so damn good, one of the best movie deluxes ever in my opinion

I feel the same way, Topspin was (IMO) the best deluxe from DotM and one of my favorite figures in general. When I think of figures that are just fun, Topspin comes to mind at the top of the list. The SS version has a lot to prove.

This maybe be an unpopular opinion, but I stand by it: Topspin was the best Dark of the Moon deluxe, and remains of the best deluxes ever made, and he is certainly in contention for best alternate mode of any deluxe figure

Popular or unpopular, some opinions are just correct. ;)

This guy just joined the collection. Found two of them at a local Target today. He is pretty neat, looking good next to Mixmaster.

Nice score on Scavenger! Overall he looks much more impressive than the ROTF Voyager

Packing up some movie stuff, some notes on 4 different movies guys from previous lines.

First of all, this guy has another one of the best alt modes ever. i love this 4x4 armored monster

Image

This one may be crap, but he is my 3rd ever Transformer, and he came on my 13th birthday cake. He is special to me

Image

I still stand by my statement that this is a great toy, and he might be with my MPMs until they release Ratchet

Image

and despite what people say, I still really like Knight Prime

Good line up D, that's awesome about Jazz. I agree with you on Ratchet, I have 3 versions of that mold/size.

Recon Ironhide is an absolute beast. It's like if Transformers and Mad Max had a crossover. Best version of that mold, IMO.

The studio series one needs to undergo a similar hardcore makeover for fun

Is the knight Prime a leader? I have a voyager TLK Prime, but I don't think it looks like that.

That's the voyager version, the leader wasn't that accurate.

That was my voyager, I have 2 versions of the leader.

I still love this figure and character, no matter how much everyone craps on him.

I still prefer the TLK to SS Cogman

Also, Night 1 of night shift and Hound and Slash ride at last

Queue was great. And might have lived, but someone had to die in that scene and Ferrari nixed the original plan of it being their product placement.

Tiny!Fat Ballerina riding Slash looks amazing

Strafe came with me to work last night, and I have to say, I feel I have not given him the credit he is due. He is a really good deluxe figure, with some spectacular paint work, and also the wingspan in awesome. He's just fun!

and I would strongly argue that he is a far better design than the G1 Swoop
