Regardless, It is an impressive piece of engineering.

Cheers!

I get the same emails everyone else gets from Pulse, the credit on this one was really for the YouTube link more than anything.

Thanks Emerje, I'm expecting news staff to be stupid busy with sdcc reveals anyways - I know I am XD, so as always I like to to talk in the forums (or at least talk to myself). At this rate it would be cheaper to collect robosen than all the other stuff I'm liking the looks of.

Robosen Optimus was nice, but far from perfect. The truck looked off, the bot mode was just "close enough", plus he had that partforming panel behind his head.

Grimlock on the other hand is PERFECTION. As if the Masterpiece toy came to life! Plus the transformation sequence is very, very impressive. No matter the angle, both the bot and dino look amazing on all angles.

Sure, 1500$US is a LOT of money. But to have something perfect, you have to put in the price. I will never buy this but if I had the money to spare, Robosen Grimlock would be a no brainer.

That really is incredible engineering. As a Grimlock fan, this is a must have, but that price is insane.

From looking at the pics of this thing, if I didn't know any better, I'd think it was just another release of MP Grimlock, since it uses the exact same design as the MP (only super sized up to the height of Armada Unicron) and its deco uses details exclusive to the first Hasbro release (namely, those red stripes on the dino legs/robot arms), but also lacks some of the deco changes from said Hasbro version (the silver on the robot thighs is missing).

It does look a lot like MP Grimlock. But $1500? Only people who are really hardcore collectors, and loaded, will be able to get this one. Ow!

At least, you pay for actual technology, not for "an idea." (Meaning just for rarity of the fact that someone famous once owned the thing)

Aww man. I may need to sell off some figures to get it now. Anything that makes fart noises is just awesome.
