Ordered Overkill, now only 53-55 days of waiting to see how bad Hasbro destroys the nice box that he comes in.

they should just put the figures in a tightly wound mess of bubble wrap and packing tape and send them that way. why even bother with a box

Chaoslock wrote:Prime and Megs: "New packaging, same product. Losers." It would have been so much better to re-release the Classics Voyager Megs and Prime in that packaging, those deluxe molds FAIL.

Overkill and Dragstrip: Gotta see them to judge them, but those boxes alone are enough to buy each of the two.

These 4 are the worst molds of the original classic line avoid them. Both the Grimlock/Overkill and Mirage/Dragstrip molds are worse than the Optimus Prime and Megatron.

MIRAGE is one of the worst molds? What freaky, twisted planet do you live on? And how do you know what Dragstrip looks like?

I have the Grimlock mold, his feet may be bad, but I wouldn't say it is worse than the Megatron who has no right hand. It just looks more like a nod to the pretender Grimlock than the original one.

I doubt we will get it, but a retool of Mirage's head would be nice. IMO Overkill looks great as a repaint of Grimlock. But I always liked the Dino-tapes in G1.

I really want to see Dragstrip... But I can say now that there's a good chance I'll pick him up.
Everything else--

Pass.

It looks like Hasbro found a way to dump all the extra Prime vs Megatron 2packs.

These figures are too expensive for their size.

drag strip doesn't look as good as i had hoped. I suppose this will serve as a nice placeholder until i learn to paint.

Seibertron's member Protoform-S has provided us with high-def pictures of the Transformers Universe Special Edition Figures courtasy of Cybertron Philippines. So far we have seen pictures of Optimus Prime, Megatron and Overkill, but this is the first time we've seen pictures of Drag Strip in robot mode

I know right? Mirage is probably the most aclaimed mold from the original Classics lineup....

Some folks thinks Mirage is icky. Maybe it's because he doesn't resemble closely the old G1 Mirage.

But for me, the beauty of Mirage is in the art of its figure.

I think these are all pretty nice, I read on 4chan's /toy/  that a Premium Cliffjumper, Red Mirage and a Black Prime have been mentioned as future releases for this line.

I wanted a darker yellow on Dragstrip, but I suppose this will look better in car-mode.
