Powermaster Prime with Apex Armor. He's been reissued before at that price, oh I hope he is again cause I missed out and my PM Prime has no weapons.

G1 Seeker Trio. Easy to sell, easy to market, and only one mold to use. Of course, they could just throw in several extra's and sell just Starscream.....

G1 Ultra Magnus. No real reason, just seams reasonable, as he's somewhat big and would fit the price range.

However, you wanna know what would be REALLY crazy? If we got Universe 2.0 Thundercracker, Thrust, and Dirge  . The molds exist, and wouldn't discount the Botcon figures if colored differently enough....

Keep in mind the listing was in Canadian Dollars. All of the figures you mentioned would sell for way more than $50 in Canada, except for a single Seeker. If I recall correctly, the original Seeker reissues were around the $34.99 mark. The recent Soundwave was $39.99, I believe, so CP's bet on it being him with 2 more cassettes would be right on the money.

It's a weird price point... too low to be a leader figure, but too high to be anyone else, without some extras. That's why I'm guessing it's either SDCC Soundwave or some sort of 25th pack like Pink Prime, hopefully better executed though.

Series I

Optimus Prime
Rodimus Major
Ultra Magnus

Series II
Powermaster Optimus Prime with Apex Armor
Starscream

Series III
Autobot Jazz
Silverstreak
Thundercracker

Series IV
Prowl
Red Alert
Skywarp

Series V
Hoist
Inferno
Autobot Tracks

Series VI
Autobot Grapple
Smokescreen

Series VII
Dirge
Rodimus Prime

Series VIII
Autobot Skids
Side Swipe

Remember that this sighting is from a Canadian TRU. The States might not even get it. Another realistic guess is that it could be Soundwave w/ Ravage + Laserbeak, seeing as that never hit Canada as it was only an American TRU exclusive.

I have a feeling it is going to be yet another reissued Optimus Prime. I may be the only weirdo to say this but I wouldn't mind a G2 Optimus Prime reissue.

Seconded. I have an opened G2 Prime, but a new one will be great, especially if that sound module gets some improvements.

It was released in Canada. I had to have my Canadian cousin send me one cause I was too late to get it down here. His Canadian TRU was loaded with them. Of course he got me one with a ding in the box.

It was released in Canada, however the distribution of it was crap. Some locations, (mostly in the east) saw tons of them, others saw almost nothing. Of the 3 TRU's I check on a semi-regular basis, I never saw him at any of them.

Besides my awesome speculation at the end of Page 2, I'll also add in...

-dual Targetmasters (Landfill, Spinister, and co) with a 3rd Targetmaster gun and plastic "dirt" for the Autobots; and plastic "clouds" for the Decepticons.

-6-pack of Throttlebots

-the MiniBots not released in the latest MiniBot multi-packs

-Universe Legends multi-pack

This is a fun thread!!!

Wouldn't it just piss everyone off if, instead of a figure, they re-released the vinyl/plastic carrying case from 1984/85 with the flimsy, segmented plastic insert and the G1 box art on the outside of the whole case? Here we are putting our energy into coming up with dozens of figure possiblities and then...WHAM!...blindsided. :P

The funny part is that given our recent choices from Hasbro lately, I think most of us would take the carrying case.

I'll one up that T-Mack and say that it could be the S.T.A.R.S. membership kit. :P

You're going to have to throw in the flip open Autobot logo watch and a 6 pack of Battle beasts to meet the price range.

(Pay attention kids! This is your TF history we are about to trample on)

As much as I like the possiblity of a new carrying case, the 5 I have are getting old, it will NOT have the 84 boxart on both sides, it will have the :BOT: and :CON: DW posters used on the back of the original Commemorative boxes

Editor wrote:10 pack of mini-spies, and a set of iron-on patches. B-)

I'm sure Hasbro won't even color them, they be plain ol'white, and they'll label it "Customize your Mini-Spies Kit", and we'll have to go out and buy our own paints. :o)

Includes a special pack-in DVD containing the classic episodes "Carnage in C-Minor" and "B.O.T."

Why shoot for the stars when kicking below the belt is so much easier?
G1 Wheelie, Universe Legends Wheelie, ROTF Wheelie, The Spotlight: Wheelie Comic and the G1 Wheelie T-shirt.
Hey, Bumblebee got his 3 pack so why the hell not?
(That's a rhetorical question folks!)
