If you ever wanted to see Jetfire combine with the SS05 Optimus Prime, Cam of Toyhax posted a pic on his twitter "It’s TOTALLY janky and barely RESTS together, and I still won’t give up on trying to find the Prime that is meant go with this, but dammit tonight I’m a WINNER"

And here's my super lazy attempt at jetpower prime today. yeah literally just leaning Jetfire in jet mode against Prime's back.. cos it' really difficult to transform it with one hand (accidentally caught fingers of my right hand in door this morning)

I got SS32 Prime and Jetfire at start of year from two different online UK retailers before they sold out for a month or so (I had to wait for the restock to get Sideswipe and Barricade) and they've mostly sold out again which is annoying cos I'd quite like Bonecrusher and DotM Megatron but that's probably could cos I should be saving monies at moment anyways. I would have got Cogman and Scrapmetal from the wave you saw if I could but I've seen no sign of those in UK as of yet. Haven't seen Rampage yet so no constructicons on my shelf. :/

Ive passed on Jetfire for now. He still looks great but the wife has tightened up my allowance on what I can buy per month (haha). I can only imagine in the UK what it is like waiting for select waves to come out. I remember trying to wait for ones when i was stationed in Germany, seemed to take for ever, or like you said, sold out quick.
Where i am at in the states, it seems Bonecrusher is a hot item, I haven’t seen any others since the one i bought. The same can be said about Rampage, but perhaps certain stores haven’t received any stock, who knows. I will say that I’m seeing more DotM Megatron on the shelves where I am at, along with Jetfire.

^ was that the first straight up repaint/reuse in the SS Line? (I cant keep it all straight)...If so it makes sense. It's not really indicative of any actual character in the Live Action Films. Japanese fans have a lower tolerance for things like that. Classic characters like seekers, and Prowl/Bluestreak/Smokescreen etc... you can get away with, but making a *nothing* character is a hard sell in Japan.

The first straight repaint was ratchet in the same wave. this one actually has a new head. but whatever, I know what you mean. At least ratchet is an actual character and his repaint is accurate.

So, yesterday I picked up my first Studio Series figure, SS05. I wasn't planning to at first, but I saw him for an absolute steal online and kinda had to. Now that I have him, I'm super impressed, and very happy I got him. His robot mode is crazy articulated, I love the swords he comes with, and his transformation feels really satisfying and cool. He's definitely sold me on picking up ss38 later on, and now I'm tempted to go for the Voyager Megatron to match.

Overall, I'm very happy with this guy and looking forward to the rest of the line. (Keeping my fingers crossed for an AoE/Last Knight Voyager Optimus later on)

I like the TLK Voyager figure but yeah I'd love to see Hasbro take another shot at it using inspiration from the MPM-style TLK Prime's like Unique Toys Challenger to hide some of that truck kibble. :)

And poor Shadow Raider, he doesn't deserve to shelf-warm. He's a cool figure in his own right. He's just not an important character (if any at all) but as a buddy for Lockdown he's great and looks cool in both modes (and that nice orange colour).

Where'd you get SS-05 from? I'm looking to track one down.

I can only speak for the UK, but I think there's one going kinda cheap on eBay, and he's on Kapow for a few quid off.

EDIT:
Also, I'm so jealous that the US already has the Bumblebee Optimus and Rampage out, all I see when I look at the studio series is Shelves full of Thundercracker :BANG_HEAD:

It's because Bonecrusher hates straight seams and he hates you for pointing it out and he hates me for using his hate speech.  (it's a running joke from 2007 just in case you didn't know that)

I wont say I know that but thought I would throw that out there for the heck of it. But have to say about Shadow Raider and even KSI Sentry, in my area they haven’t sat on the shelves too long.
I would say the Dropkick and Crowbar have now cluttered the shelves throughout select stores near me.

Did Thundercracker not get redistributed among other US chains? He was a Toys R Us exclusive but I got mine from Forbidden Planet in Cambridge months ago and yeah The Entertainer stores have loads of him on their shelves for £19.99 each.

Anyways I just ordered me one of them £16.97 Brawls from Kapow. Figured I should finally get that dude and it's a good price. :)

Physically he was only available at TRU a few weeks before they all closed. Online they were available at a bunch of places a few months later at full price from Hasbro. People expected them to show up at liquidation stores like Ollie's, Ross, and T.J.Maxx, but I don't recall any sightings there.

We never did get any sightings from them, he was dumped off at TRU and just went as far as I've seen.

Well, that sucks. Nice to see distribution is as baffling as always. Here, I remember briefly seeing Starscream a while back but since then it's been nothing but Thundercracker.

Ok, so after I expressed not seeing Shadow Raider that much, guess who i find in two stores today, Karma I guess :).

Anyways, thought I got lucky and found SS 38 Bumblebee movie OP. If you look at the photos, it would appear at first. It would appear some retard had opened up the box, cut the plastic ties off of OP and took the blaster. Not sure if they got caught or what but what a ding dong. I didn’t have the heart to still purchased it, my wife took it to customer service.
Followed up another trip to a Target where I bought SS Bonecrusher, they did in fact have him along with SS 32 OP.

Other than that, no much else out there! Oh well, perhaps make some rounds tomorrow.

Since I got a new bookshelf and some shelves got rejiggered, I made a new Movie Megatron shelf, missing most of my TLK Megatrons but including the voyager. This shelf has a Megatron from each of the 5 movies, with a 2nd DotM one and an alternate timeline one!

I'm thrilled that they are all around the same height.
