If the price is the same everywhere, you're screwed. But if it's a place that overcharge like Canadian Toys R Us, it's an easy choice to shop elsewhere.

Screw you and your 45$can deluxes, TrU. >:oP

I'm not screwed. I have my laser prime and paid 42 U.S. for it.

Luckying yourself into a random sale don't count.

I bet you'll say the same thing after I say I got a 50 dollar ko g2 bruticus and it has great quality. Can't blame me for being "new" collector.

I still feel sorry for any leaderish price paid for g2 legacy prime. My light bulb and unchanged batteries somehow still working decades on.

Also Jhiaxus actually has light piping!!! Not sure if that's same for velocitron Road Rocket? (really hope so).

Think things are bad now, when they just started getting better after the last 18 months, we could very well be heading into another backlog fairly soon.

Honestly that might decide for me if I ever buy another figure, if it becomes the same mess as last time it will simply be too much hassle for me to even bother with. I'm fine with 3-6 month preorders/waits but anything longer...

Don't feel sorry. Laser Prime was worth it. Especially since I got 20 dollars off.

Why should I say the same thing for something bought at normal market price?

Off-topic but I recently got something awesome but the shipping cost as much as the thing itself. Maybe in the USA you'll have a better deal shipping-wise.

That looks like the weirdo bruticus on sirtoys. I got my g2 bruticus there. And I use shipping by air, 20 bucks for first item, a few dollars for every other. Combined or combiner orders are best, for maximum value. Knock offs rock!

Mine came from Sirtoys too. But this here Leaf had to pay over 55$US in shipping alone for two sets.

Also, I have a rule regarding "K.O." It's pointless getting exact copies. But weird mods like that Captain America from AoE voyager Galvatron do rock! 8-)

But turning things back to Legacy, I wonder if the Insecticons will be the same as the previous ones and only be release ONE each "chapters" of the current trilogy? :-?

I buy kos if they are cheaper
But if it's a trilogy, is chapter 1 legacy, evolution, or what?

Generations have been trilogies since Combiner Wars.
Legacy is Chapter 1 of the new trilogy. So the theme may be the TF Multiverse. We can expect anything for the next 3 years.

TF Fan スモグレ got their hands on the Transformers Legacy "A Hero is Born" set and posted images on Twitter. The set includes Alpha Trion and Orion Pax along with a Vector Sigma accessory. You will see images comparing the molds used compared to previous usages along with previous versions of these characters. This set will be Pulse Exclusive in the US, it is unsure if that will be the case for other countries. In some instances, countries in the east have separate distribution channels where these sets are sent to collectible shops. The provenance of this specific set is unknown at the moment.

Magnificent set!
Those repaints/remolds were expected and are very well done.

Plus it's nice to see that the kid brought his grandpa to the Disco!

I wonder If the ER Arcee/Elita mold will get 1 more repaint as Ariel. Should've been included in this set.

You want the set to be even more expensive?

A few things here... FINALLY they got it right. Don't put an Autobot symbol on Orion Pax. Next, I really do like Alpha Trion, I just (for some reason) don't like the vehicle mode. And it's probably just because he was the 1st transformer that didn't transform, so it's hard for me to grip that mentally (I'm so trying to like the vehicle) but the robot mode is great. Lastly, I REALLY want that key an vector sigma, especially since the stunticons are almost complete.
Oh and I TOTALLY forgot that Megatron was released, it is so horrible looking. I will always keep the Netflix version over that one.
But I'll be buying the set just for the key an vector sigma.

Year one is Legacy.
Year two is Legacy.
Year three... we don't know if there will be a year three but if there is one it will be Legacy.

We've been told several times now that Legacy isn't a trilogy, we weren't even sure originally if we were going to get more than one year. Ignore the "Ev" on the listings, it's on the listings for the first year figures, too.

Hopefully then Hasbro changes the packaging and assortment/ barcodes/ whatever slightly. Otherwise we are back to T30/CW/TR where when you get past year one, And are into later waves, the stores don't stock them

For me with Alpha Trion, his alt mode just screams repainted Scourge, but then you get to the robot mode and any hint of Scourge is gone and it's a bloody neat trick!

I like the set .... but mainly for Orion Pax. They did a great job on Alpha Trion, but he still resembled Scourge too much to me. I don't know what they could do about it - it's such a distinctive design. I'll likely keep Titanium Saint as my AT.

Very nice set. Not sure why the Energon goodie thing is still included with Orion though. I get it shares the mold but it doesn't need that. Overall everything came out very nice.

Unrelated but just a random thought: I wonder if we'll ever get a hate plague collection within Legacy at some point. They can re-issue a bunch of figures but decked out in red translucent plastic. Rodimus, Magnus, Galvatron, Cyclonus, the Predacons, the list goes on. Then Optimus in a deco resembling when he coats himself in the metal to get the Matrix from Rodimus.
Tell me that wouldn't be cool!

...see but the problem is then at SDCC Hasbro designers (don't remember if it was Evan, Ben, or both) said Legacy is a trilogy, hence confusion. My personal theory is that it was initially planned as a trilogy and then they shifted it to a continuous line like Studio Series and the designers just don't know that from the marketing perspective, but as it stands we technically have official word that contradicts other things we thought we knew.

It's probably gangmolded and might have cost too much to be gated off the mold sprue.

Just pretend that the young 'bot likes to snack on goodies during his breaks while working at the docks. ;)

And then some years down the line, all that red translucent plastic would turn it into a Cosmic Rust set. :P

It's not the ev. I though I heard about a trilogy a while ago......
