Greetings Seibertronians! Following yesterday's surprising reveal of Transformers Selects Titan Class Black Zarak, more sites have opened up preorders for this highly anticipated retpol (one that many assumed would never happen, at least not from Hasbro).

Best news is that Canadian and Australian sites are getting in on the action, meaning fans in those areas won't be missing out!

Check out the sites below to secure your preorder now.

Pre-orders for Black Zarak are now available at EB Games/Zing (Australia) for the price of $299.00 with a $50 deposit.

You would have been hard pressed to find Scorponok cheaper than that when he had his limited release in Australia.

EB Games Australia

Zing Pop Culture

Canada

Ages 3 and Up

EB Games

USA

Dorkside Toys

What's interesting to note about this preorder, is that Dorkside Toys have listed the figure under the Legacy name, and not War for Cybertron that other figures have had so far. Thanks to fellow Seibertron user, Sabrblade, for sharing this information!

Have you secured this exciting release? Have you got Black Roritchi ready for Black Zarak?

Shout out in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Not only is Black Zarak pre-ordered, but it's already paid in full in advance.
No way I'm missing out.

This morning I made a pre-order on Pulse. If the Ark comes out and is cool then I will just have to find a place for both of them. But then again, I have so many more Autobots than Decepticons, I might just skip the Ark and have two Decepticon titans. I have a few months to figure it out lol.

BZ has the perfect spot waiting for him (currently occupied by PotP Predaking). If all goes well with Masterpiece Raiden , then he and PotP Predaking will hopefully find a nice home on another shelf. The Ark on the other hand will be the oddball in my collection, which is why MetroTitan would restore the Balance nicely ;) .

Just to add the list for Australians (because I know some people actually don't like dealing with EB/Zing). Robotoyz have their pre-order live as well. $19.95 deposit, $299.95 final price plus shipping.

Convince me I should do the same. I don't really have the room, I don't really have the money (though with a December release I can easily save up) but I do like the figure a lot ...

Edit: Metrotitan would be so amazing please didn’t even cross my mind until I read the thread

I'm personally hoping that Star Saber and Deszuras both get Commander Class versions. They certainly are deserving of them.

I would only be down for a new Star Saber IF we get a Victory Leo to go with it. I already have the MP version which is THE version of the character.

So any bets on whether we get shipping notifications or delay notices for Deep Cover from Pulse in the next 8-12 hours or so? I'm guessing delay notice, seems like they have their hands full with Unicron.

Marvel Fortress Maximus and Scorponok in robot mode are the same size roughly as Powermaster Optimus Prime. Ratbat was apparently huge too.

Yeah, it would have been charged by now if it was shipping on time.

I have no room nor money either!

But Black Zarak is one of my top want since I saw Masterforce. The G1 was a big nope and that overpriced giant "action figure" was not an option.

I missed out on ER Scorponok and I had no choice but to preorder the reissue from Pulse. Importing it will be pricey. I preordered it because I kinda gave up on a Select Black Zarak. But here he is. cheaper (or same price) as Scorponok. One of my top want is finally here! So I will MAKE the room for both. Especially because they are very different from one another.

But enough gushing and I'll go logically. Scorponok was pretty much instantly sold out each and every time he appeared in store. It's a miracle Hasbro is reissuing him. But I don't think there will be a second chance at an OFFICIAL and TRANSFORMING modern Black Zarak. So the time is now. :michaelbay:

Earthrise Scorponok is being released again soon in next few months. Entertainment Earth shows a June 2021 release.

No difference from Pulse or any other American store for this here Canadian though. No matter where, exchange rates, taxes, and shipping remain a pain.

In theory, Pulse will ship the new batch of Scorponoks this July.

Yeagh the only conistantant thing about scale in transformers is its inconsistance :p
I remember Scorponok being a bit bigger than power master prime when they teamed up against Unicron but memory may be funny. I should really get five of the cybertron tank Unicrons at some point to be the comic army minion versions.

If repainted titans are an option for selects then fingers crossed for metro titan and maybe a guardian omega.

No derailing at all.

Those two are really good! Make me regret skipping the only ER Sunstreaker I ever saw in store.

I just can’t stand the different shades of yellow on Sunstreaker. Spin-Out has only 1 shade of red. Not sure why yellow is so tough.

It's a very, VERY transparent color. For some scientific reason, yellow is way more see-through than any other colors. So on a toy with parts that are plastics of different thickness and parts that are painted yellow, the differences are way more in-your-face.

Try painting with yellow. You'll see.

I've just painted a blood bowl team whose colours are yellow and black...never again -_-

Nope. Same size. But then again, just about every seems like they're around the same size when Andy Wildman draws them in those issues. Jose Delbo seemed to draw the Leaders larger though.

I'm reading the G1 Marvel comic collected editions and while it starts off weird and sorta eh, knowing all the crazy stuff it leads to is why I'm want to finally read it through.

Fort Max and Scorponok were bigger in their earlier appearances before Optimus came back as a Powermaster, but big characters shrinking over time was kind of a thing in Marvel G1. Just ask Omega Supreme. ;)

Issue #19: Gargantuan

Issue #41: Above-average

(sorry for derailing the conversation with Marvel Transformers comic talk everyone ... remember, inspired by Black Zarak and Scorponok discussions!)

The Marvel Transformers comics remain probably my favorite part of Transformers comics. Lots of corny stuff, but I was THE intended age for Transformers (7 years old in 1984) so it hit all of the right spots. 7 years of monthly anticipation, waiting to see what happened next ... not to mention the bonus 1.5 years in high school, with G2 appropriately ending during my senior of high school.

The Marvel Transformers comics are not the most sophisticated and it definitely smacks of being a long running advertisement for the Transformers toys, but isn't that most Transformers fiction?

Kudos to you for reading it, aronjlove. It's not Shakespeare. But it is Transformers through and through.

I had no attachment to either Cordon or Spinout and while I liked Sunstreaker I wasn't crazy about the mold like I am Sideswipe so I had canceled my original order of this 2-pack. Then I started seeing pics and that white and red both looked really nice. I ended up getting them through Entertainment Earth and very happy I did. I think you will be very happy!

I skipped Sunstreaker, but I grabbed these two as soon as the pre-order went up. Cordon is okay, but Spinout really does look fantastic in-hand. He actually feels more stable than Cordon, too.

Since they haven't given him a name I'm thinking about making this guy Olin Zarak since he's a pirate and this figure has an eyepatch. That's really all the thought I've put into it.

Does anyone know where I could get blasters that look like Sunstreaker’s in the cartoon? Cordon and Spin-out need a weapon.

I'm not going to try and get you to do something that will not work out for you, all I'll say is that he is far and away the only titan that I've enjoyed owning as a toy rather than as a huge action figure that sits on a shelf because his alt mode is an unwieldly city.

His bot mode is amazing and his beast mode is a lot of funs - even his headmaster has a tight, svelte design that's fun to play with, I dunno what it is about him, but he is the only one (I have tryp, predaking, omega and him) that I'll just randomly grab off my desk and start posing or transforming.

After about three weeks of fiddling with him multiple times a day I swore if TT/hasbro ever did a bz repaint, I would get it to support this mold, so this was an easy pre-order for me.

To stay with Masterforce continuity, 1 component of Black Zarak would have to be named Devil Z, right?
