I have held off buying any version of the Leader Optimus mold to wait for the most movie-accurate version of the toy, and this could very well be what I'm looking for.

Instead of posting your frustration (which is blatantly off-topic) just use the "Report this Post" button and a staff member will be able to delete your duplicate posts.

It happens now and then, sometimes the server gets laggy, go back and refresh and see if your post made it through. Don't keep hitting submit.

I bought the standard version of AoE Leader Optimus, and payed the "TrU tax" (they sell their leaders 5$ more than everyone else for some reasons). That was 60$ plus taxes at TrU instead of 55$+tx at Walmart and Target. I really like it with all the paint aps he got, the chrome and the rubber tires. AoE Optimus feel already like a premium figure.

Still, When some in-hands images of this "upgraded" AoE Leader Optimus pop up I will take a look and see if this will be worth the possible 100$ shipped this thing will maybe cost. So far, it look very promising. I'll wait and see if it's worth it to buy the "same" expensive figure a second time.

BTW, I just wanted to make a joke with my previous coffe post, not be a jerk... please dont hit me!

TRU charges more because they're not like walmart or target who sell a much greater variety of items and get millions of more customers a year. so... that's why.

there is no way i'd spend $55 tax for the hasbro AOE leaders.. no chance in hell. that is just a straight up rip off.

Sure is, formerly known as Ultimate Power Mode Optimus Prime, but now called Armor Knight Optimus Prime... Same as the Silver Knight in the 4-pack

Undoubtedly this is the best version of AOE leader Prime so far, but for some reason I'm just not a fan of this mould. The engineering is just lacking for a leader class 'Generations' toy, in fact I'd argue that the AOE deluxe's are better engineered than this guy. And importing him to the UK ££££££££££££££! =;

Think I'll pass.

He also has newly molded feet also. I'd love to get this guy, but probably a bit too expensive. Hopefully they import the new molding

Still the kibble-laden, awkward, nearly unposeable movie mold though.

But the sword and shield were reddish in the movie.

Red accents against silver metal, that I remember. The blade of his sword and the expansion of the shield? I don't remember them being yellow, reddish yellow, orange, whatever color isn't being represented well on my PC's screen. I don't remember anything but silver and red on his shield ever, and most certainly not the sword.

I looked through the screen caps here on Seibertron and I see nothing to support this new change they've given the accessories.

EDIT: I stand corrected. The sword does indeed glow red when in battle, silver when not in use. I did not notice that before...

But in all of the pictures I've seen through the gallery (which is not all of them, I might add), I've yet to see the shield be this orangey reddish color. (I'm still looking.)

New Galleries: Movie Advanced AEON Exclusive Wheeljack and AD17 Darkside Soundwave

Remember the Movie Trilogy line that was supposed to spin off of the Dark Of The Moon toyline? All those promised redecos and remolds that we saw at various panels, yet they never saw the light of day? Well, after nearly three years of waiting, Takara Tomy has made the existence of those figures, or at least some of them, possible.

Seibertron.com is proud to present our two newest Transformers galleries:

Movie Advanced AEON Exclusive Wheeljack and AD17 Darkside Soundwave

Wheeljack sports a G1 deco and a brand new head that looks like a mix of his G1 self and...the Matrix?? Sadly, all of the accessories have been stripped and it's just the figure, but at least the fans will finally get the figure they were hoping for.

Darkside Soundwave takes on a Soundblaster deco, and looks classy doing so. Again, still no accessories, but the figure rocks all on it's own. At first glance, it looks like Soundwave took a dip in a vat of ink, but the black does look good on him and the silver paint apps bring the rest of the look together to sweeten the deal.

You can click on the pictures below to be taken to each figure's full gallery. While you're there, check out our galleries of the original molds, DOTM Wheeljack/Que and DOTM Soundwave.

Of note is how this Wheeljack doesn't quite have the same deco as the unreleased Movie Trilogy Series version does, as that one's deco was only somewhat G1-inspired, while this one is more directly G1-inspired.

Hmmm.... it's great that they are releasing these figures again so that fans get another chance at picking them up.

I wonder if they'll also release Leadfoot. Now that was one I really wanted, but the prices on ebay were insane!!!

That is a WILD looking head sculpt for Wheeljack.

It needs to be on a different body though. That mold doesn't do it justice.
