Yes your right I know that which is why I did not say guaranteed.

Certain attachment joints haven't stopped Hasbro from retooling parts (heads or otherwise) on other toys in the past. They just got lazy with Scatterspike or didn't have the budget to give her a new head.

The pins don't make it seem like Quillfire is a remold friendly figure at all too me so I still think that Hasbro went lazy as to not use a new technique for head remolding one specific head on a specific mold.

Not saying your wrong I'm just going with my opinion unless told by Hasbro themselves on the matter

I'm not in a very straight thinking mood so forgive any off sentences.

Found a warrior Blastwave at a local toys r us. I don't really follow RID but he looked cool. I love how he's a good guy Bludgeon and that head sculpt is incredible. It's figures like him though that make me wish RID had a voyager class.

You know, I bet if Fun Pub was still able to do Shattered Glass they'd give Bludgeon (already based on RID2001 Bludgeon) a shell that looks like RID2015 Blastwave.

Bludgeon is one of those Warrior figures that for me falls under the category of "I love it so much but I wish it was Voyager". Another notable one for me being the Nemesis Prime redeco of Power Surge Optimus.

Here's my review of Blastwave. I really like the mold, but I just can't get past the fact this is a blue Bludgeon. If they would've used the face one the card, it would've been a better figure.

Transformers Robots in Disguise Befana/Epiphany Stockings at Italian Retail

In Italy, as some other countries in Europe, the 6th January sees the celebration of the Epiphany (if you're into sorta-religious celebrations, that is) and the end of winter festivities nation-wide. For the occasion, much like for Easter and other holidays, Hasbro has released a Befana - the Italian name of the day - themed Robots in Disguise stocking. Though I am not sure what is inside these, expect sweet treats and maybe a small toy, as is customary for the day, or a lump of coal if you've been bad!

While some of the items included are re-packs of previous figures, such as Night Ops Bumblebee and Gold Armor/regular green Grimlock, we do have the new Blurr, Bludgeon and Twinferno figures - and an entirely new Thermidor one (though probably a redeco of Bisk)! Check it out below.

63050951129 Skywr (Skywarp)

63050951128 Blur(r)

63050955642 Bludgeo(n)

Found Doradus Legion Springload today, he's a marvelous little toy. Really little, but the mouth, arm articulation, and transformation scheme all make up for it. I do wish they didn't use black for the sides of the truck or the front grill. At least I can paint the front silver, make that look good. (when I stop obsessively transforming him, that is)

Ha! I found Springload and Starscream today too. At Target.
Haven't had time to open them yet, but if you like 'em Noidea, that makes even more excited to dig into Springload. I like your taste in Legions. ;)

Alright thank you Will that means that Bisk is more likely to get a new head for Thermidor.

if i had to venture a guess, i'd say that Paralon's noodle was intended to approximate Beast Wars Scorponok. perhaps foreshadowing some manner of Platinum edition boxset?

Cybertron/10th ann Megatron
RID Paralon
Generations Waspinator
Uni 2 Dinobot

just need Tarantulas and Terrorsaur and we'll have a full Darksyde crew to go with our updated Axalon crew (gen Rhinox and Rattrap, Uni2 Cheetor, Cybertron/10th ann Primal (or MP))

Hasbro drops yet another TV ad on us today; but instead of Titans Returning, we get Combiners... forcing in the Robots in Disguise line; as they show off the crash combiners, the activators class and some rather impressive animation. Check it out embedded below!

they only form the upper bodies and the others only form the legs. But at least they each have their own robot modes.

It doesnt help that the gimick looked super weak in the ad. It's almost like nothing happened when he attached the smaller toy.

No they don't, they really are just "shirts" and "pants". They're nothing more than glorified G1 Duocons

If you look at the 2:27 mark you can see the chap grabs a Sideswipe from the back of the stand in it's solo-robot mode.

Also if you look at the CGI mobile game models you can see the individual arms hanging off the models when they are combined. (especially on the jets)

I've also included the official Hasbro render of Storm hammer in their individual robot mode - check the rest of the images for some more.

So yep they do have 3 modes Either :

Vehicle/Robot & Upper Body
or
Vehicle/Robot & Lower body.

We know they have bot modes, the question was if they could form both the top and bottom halves of the combined mode which they can't.

I forgot, simply because the images for the smaller robot modes were smaller than the others and thus stood out less. I thus retract my statements and hide in shame
