Obviously they're not the same size but here's a cheeky little comparison.

Even if this was somehow possible despite the fact that Breakdown hasn't even been shown yet, this request sounds like an easy way for Wave 3 to become artificially & needlessly rare and get straight-up skipped by some stores.

Yeah, that schedule is a bit optimistic. I would think that Breakdown won't show up until 2023. Early, like January/February, but I think hoping he'll be on shelves in 2 months is a bit of a stretch.

yup, really worried after all the shoulder joints cracked on motormaster :-x

TF-fan kev777 wrote:For Target specifically, the store may or may not get a full case, and they may not actually get it within a Hasbro case box itself. I've seen employees stock some of the deluxe pegs and voyager slots with figures from plain brown internal target shipping boxes.

So in your example, it could very well be the employee just didn't want to go back and look, or it could be that they might have just stocked them from an internal shipment and put out the only figures they received.

Just a follow up to my Wildrider hunt from last week. Well finally got him last night. I do believe Tf-fan that it may be the case that Target may not always get full case packs, btu I now know, this one did, and I was simply lied to by multiple lazy employees, and just had to fins an honest one to do the right thing.

AS mentioned previously, they got the whole case last Thursday 9/15. Unfortunately this particular store only has 1 peg at the moment for Legacy Deluxe (because they got an influx of S7 taking up 3 or 4 pegs)... Anyway, we all know a deluxe case has 8 (in this case 2 of each for wave 2). When I went on Thursday mornign they had an old W1 Primce Arcee, 2 Tarantulas, and 1 Elita from the new case (leaving 2 WR, 2 Knocktout, and 1 Elita n the case in the back).

When doores opened, the lady said "I dont backstock toys" which was a clear lie. Later in the day both my son and daughter asked different employees who told them simply there were none on the back.

Fast forward 6 days to last night (09/20). I went in shortly before closing. ON the one peg was a Knockout, Elita, Tarantuals, and the old Prime Arcee (meaning in 6 days only 1 Tarantulas had moved) There were no employees around, so I asked an employee in electronics to page Simeone to toys. Instead she volunteered to assist me herself. She scanned the tag, and asked specifically for which one I wanted (meaning there were obviously more in the back). She came out with the WR case fresh, no issues.

I'm glad I got it, but its mind blowing the games you have to play. I know the employees dont care, and its not their job to know what sells and what doesn't, and obviously there is some room for variance in the plan-o-gram since every Target and Walmart are different. Every store should have at least 2 pegs (which fits a whole case of 8) for Generations Deluxe mainline, but I guess that's just me.

Someone here asked a while ago about anti-theft devices. With respect to Transformers, I had only seen them recently on MPM Blackout. There had been multiple Legacy Metroplex' at my closest Target that seemingly sold well. But just last night I saw they now have the anti-theft devices as well (I hope those Legacy Plex's didn't walk out unpaid for ) , and curiously MPM Blackout didn't Seems random. :???:

I'll never forget a trip to Target last year when they had Classified Alley Vipers in stock, with each $20 figure sporting security tags.

However, there's always those that just pull the ol' switcheroo, such as this rather artistic effort from some cheeky little tealeaf...

Did they not only swap the figure but also go to the trouble of changing the name and artwork for the box?

There is no Deluxe Starscream in this line.

That is real dedication to the art of switching figures.

Gotta say I’m really enjoying Knockout. Makes me want to go out and pickup SS86 Jazz.
Only nitpick would be the lack of wrist swivels Otherwise he’s a ton of fun.

That's disappointing. I hope they make some changes to the final release...

I might pop down to Akiba to have a look myself this weekend.

Cheers for the pics.

Yeah that's definitely not a Lamborghini. Hopefully it's fake. Like Mortor Master.

It's real, it's from a Takara Tomy event. They altered the back end, but they should have also done the front and maybe the the windows, too.

Bummer on Breakdown, I had a feeling that 4 unique limb bots would be too much to expect.

It makes me wonder if they're trying to make him look more like the newer Lamborghini that they made Earthrise Sunstreaker into.

Seriously? After all that... They make entirely new molds for everybody, go to the lengths of making 2 figures that have a release mechanism so they split in half when combined with the arm and the arm is extended. They design a rather complex motor master and trailer skeleton, and then just cheap out with the last limb by making him a straight repaint?

Something seems off about this.

Or is the plan to release an actual Breakdown later, like they did with CW Wild Rider and CW Blastoff?

Make you buy a limb twice.... :-?
