I already own Metroplex, Fortress Maximus, Grand Maximus, Omega Supreme, Trypticon and Haslab Unicron...I'm running out of display space in my appartment. But it's a nice collection of Titans. Black Zarak will be a beautiful addition :)

Same here.

Unless they announce something mind-blowing in some years, of course.

I had BZ on pre-order day one. I have all the Titans so far, not missing on this one for sure.

And yes, Majin Zarak is a must have if my Titan collection is ever to feel complete. Metrotitan as well.

It's kinda like the beast, except more interesting and reasonably well implemented

Niiiiiiiiiiice!

And the transformation would be quite simple although mega-cheat. The kaiju wear his altmode as a "cape". When "transforming" He simply straighten that cape and hide under it like a blanket. If he can flatten enough, I could deal with this.

Galvatron II looks really good. That is my Galvatron right there. Pre-ordered!

I also preordered this new Galvatron… Really looking forward to him!!
Which also is causing second thoughts about the Ark… As someone else mentioned, the display space is a major factor, but for me it really is the $160… Not that I can’t afford it… But there’s still a list of others I know I want as much, a few a bit more, & a couple a lot more. I dread the thought of having to keep the Ark stored away, but thankfully there’s time to decide.

Back to Galvatron… I plan on leaving him almost completely sticker-free.
I dig the main colors, & imo the stickers are a bit much.

Has the “wireframe” version been confirmed?
I thought that was going to be a R.E.D. release… I don’t see how that’s going to work well for a transforming figure.

Why won't Hasbro rerelease the last 2 Selects Seacons? :-x

Just the leakers saying it is. We know *something* is happening because of Amazon Australia listing "Galvatron Unicron" (they've since removed the listing). The price was higher than standard Leaders in Australia, some say it's because of the lines painted all over the figure (Unicron in the name being short for Unicron reformatted), others have suggested this is the Energon Galvatron that had also been mentioned by leakers (Unicron in this case being short for Unicron Trilogy) with the higher price going to the extra parts needed to pull of the look (possibly the same parts coming with SG Megatron). Doesn't seem like anyone can really agree on this.

IIRC, the most recent leak/rumor is that it is galvatron with wireframe/reformatting deco, with ~10-14 of the microfigures that scale with unicron/titan ark's bridge, and ~2-4 small ships that scale with unicron.

Do you think Alpha Trion will get a G1 toy in the near future? It is cool to see him in Cyberverse and Titans Return but those toys don't fit the new G1 aesthetic. Check out how close Scourge is to Alpha Trion. Cape/wings, beard, Spaceship mode.

New mold or Scourge repaint?

Main line or Selects or not at all?

We got a pretty great Alpha Trion in Titan Return. But it wasn't the "real" one.
One thing that don't help him is that he never had an altmode in the original cartoon.
Still, Scourge is a pretty damn good base for an Alpha Trion. The cape and ship "bridge" could use some remolding to differentiate him enough. The body too while we're at it. If Select severely remold SS86 Scourge into Alpha Trion, I bet this could be a Takara initiative.

But for this to have hope of ever happening, Select needs to allow Studio Series figures into the line. But it's called GENERATIONS Select...
Hmmmm..... :-?

Studio Series is a Generations subline. It's on the packaging.

Plus SS86 molds are getting separate subline repaints outside of mainline SS already anyway, considering Shattered Glass Blurr and the listing for Kingdom Jackpot.

In that case, the ball is in HASTAK's park. It's up to them to finally kick it.

Once they get over vehicle licensing that is. That could be one reason that Bug Bite isn't a VW Beetle. Also, the designs that appeared in the movie are licensed to Paramount, as such they may be limited to Studio Series as part of the agreement. I mean, they were hands-off for FunPub...

Oh yeah, this.
Still, there's still lots of unlicensed toys that could get the Select treatment.

Like the SS 86 range. No Live Action Movie designs I'm afraid... The only one I could really see is (yet another) Stepper, maybe some G2 Dinobots once they're all done.

Yeah there needs to be a much better representation for Alpha Trion just as there currently is with Kingdom Ultra Magnus...IMHO.

So considering how many repaints there are with voyager Megatron I'm hoping :HASBRO: / :TAKARATOMY: gives us a much better looking repaint for Galvy. Just like his Takara LG counterpart....very awesome looking indeed minus the bad gimmick...'nuff said! :VEHI:

I'd totally pay leader price for this voyager and some Alpha Trion-themed accessories. And I mean literally this one, same mold and paint job. Good stuff ;)^

Side note, I really want a TR Galvatron because I enjoy Titanmasters and triple-changers. And with KD Galvie it takes some of the sting away from TR not being 'perfect'. The only thing holding me back is I've heard the legs are loosey-goosey and I'm all about the posing.
