Mine should be showing up in the next four hours according to the Amazon app, I'll definitely let you all know if mine shows up like that.

It's coming from the Amazon forum on the TFW2005 boards and the reviewer Baltmatrix's Twitter.

Image from Baltmatrix's twitter. This is some BS. I ordered all three of the Siege Amazon exclusives and none of them shipped this way. But, technically Amazon told us it would ship this way, look at the attachment for the ER Autobot two-pack. Amazon lists if the packaging is just the original box.

Needless to say, but I just canceled my order for the Autobot two-pack and re-ordered so I could choose the Amazon packaging option. It is still in stock so I suggest others do the same, just make sure to complete a new order before canceling the previous in case it goes out of stock.

I've had selects sent that way with just a label slapped on them but cant remember from where. Amazon uk usualy finds a box that is ten times the size of the itm and sends them in that (which will probably be down to staff having to meet targets/bonus). I'm half expecting scorponok to turn up in a box the size of a bungalow.

Ok, so a new shipment did indeed show up at my local Walmart this morning, however they were more Wave 1 deluxes. :BANG_HEAD:
Both Hasbro Pulse and my Target pre-orders still show 9/1 as the supposed release date for wave 2, just a little over 2 weeks away you would think some places might get them earlier...I guess with what's goin on it will be miracle if they show up on 9/1.

Also that makes everything else way more disproportionate. If wave 1 started showing up around March, then if we get Wave 2 in Sept, Wave 3 in Nov and Kingdom wave 1 by end of year.....

I think this must be some thing where Amazon fails to make the instructions about "ships in original packaging" clear enough to their employees, because every time there's an Amazon exclusive Transformers figure this happens to some amount; what "ships in original packaging" is supposed to mean is that is ships in the Hasbro shipper box (that has the product name on the outside, thus why the asking to ship in Amazon packaging option is framed as obscuring what's in the box), and a lot of people get it that way as they're supposed to, but there's always some amount who receive it and it's literally the actual figure box with a label slapped on, probably meaning either the wording to the employees about whst "original packaging" means is overly vague, or it arrives at some Amazon warehouses without the shipper box, and the employees aren't told in those circumstances to put it in an actual box.

You could be right. Mine showed up in an Amazon box. I checked my order and I did not select gift packaging. Interesting.

On what planet does slapping a label on the actual packaging make sense? More importantly how do the people who are supposed to deliver the packages accept them like that?

It doesn't, at all, but given what conditions are like for Amazon warehouse workers, I really don't blame them for not thinking about it much.

Probably not canonical since ol' Scorpy and Megs are usually backstabbing each other but it makes for a cool pic.

Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, Thundertron, has let us know of some new images of forthcoming Earthrise figures, have appeared on Walmart listings for the figures.

First up we have a new image of Deluxe Class Sunstreaker, showing his alt mode.

Image

Next we have some new images of Voyager Class Megatron, offering a stark contrast to his recently leaked G2 deco in the Generations Selects line. The last of these images gives us a good look at Megatron's head.

Sunstreaker is part of the third wave of Deluxes while Megatron is part of the third wave of Voyagers.

What do you think of these images? Are you planning on picking any of these up? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Me too, just to get a gauge on how nostalgic colors trump design flaws.

A better question would be how many people who weren't getting Earthrise Megs at all are now getting the Selects version

Apparently I’m in the minority, but I am eager to get Earthrise Megatron, and the G2 version.
Siege Megatron was great, and I have 3 different versions of him. But I hate the H tank treads, and the fact that he leans backwards when standing straight (a design flaw of the feet, that hopefully won’t carry over).

Wow you pick the factory defect with a chip in his eyebrow for your marketed headshot? Somebody in the marketing team needs to be fired.

I think that's paint. Really hard to get those details right in such a small piece without the use of magnifying glasses.

Would be quite interesting to see a Seeker with a beard, given how standardized they generally are normally.

That's why POTP Rodimus Unicronus, and by extension SG Rodimus, are a couple of my favorite looks.
