Yep, only ever saw He-Man and Skeletor at Walmart (except maybe the occasional Man-At-Arms when they first came out last year). I've seen the rare one-off unique figure at Target, which I should have grabbed, but didn't simply because I'm not collecting these. My local Target is currently clearancing Battle-Cat (But not Panthor for some reason) and those Adam/Skysleds, so many of those. Also several of the "Rise of Evil" Keldor/Kronis 2-packs. Regular figures remain just He-Man and Skeletor. Supposedly the Revelation toys were selling well, I never saw any but some Targets I guess had endcap displays. I wouldn't be surprised however, after the Dumpster fire that happened with Netflix, I very much fear for the future of the MOTU line as a whole.

And the pegs are actually labeled "He-Man" and "Skeletor", this is entirely intentional. Oddly the pegs to the right for $11.19 are new and say "MOTU Origins Reg." on them and I have no idea what that could be.

Meanwhile, this was what I found at ONE walmart location. It's ridiculous how many of those figures we got and we never ever got He-Man or Skeletor in those single packs you show.

Also, put a pic of the TF section at that same store. Not bad. Lacking in SS but it has a bit of everything else, just nothing I need or am looking for.

I find it hilarious that your Walmart also has a couple SS Arcee triplets sets that have been hanging around forever.

I thought this was really cool. This is my Walgreens today. I randomly see the Allicon and Arcee there. I've never seen anything other than the Walgreens exclusive figure, so to randomly see two Earthrise figures, who aren't Bluestreak was surprising. Picked up the Allicon since I didn't have him yet and the price is better than online.

Man, I should have taken a pic of my Walmart's new MOTU section, they revamped the area that had the Jurassic Park toys and made it all MOTU. And they had this. No clue who these characters are, I never came across their 80s toys but I don't care because now I finally have a skeletor (and a pretty good looking one too).

Image

That same Walmart had loads of new TFs too. Some Cyberverse and BW Reissue Megatron.

Image

And they also had this guy that people are hoping to find (personally do not care).

Man, that Wrecker is everywhere but here! I have him on preorder, but I'd still rather find him in stores

Target was disappointing Saturday.

Only new things since Tuesday is the BB Grimlock sets (and four T-Wrecks on an endcap). And now the Origin Bumblebee and Worlds Collide set are listed as sold out. Not even sure if they ever made it to the floor. At least as far as the OB goes I see pics from people showing multiple pegs filled with them, can't imagine they sold that many in the last three days at one per person. The Target app let me set a notification for the WC set (can't do it on the .com for some reason), but I can't find OB even browsing out of stock. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They're pre-MOTU Skeletor and Trapjaw. The set is a Target exclusive, I'm surprise your Walmart got it instead of TRU.

Speaking of Skeletor, saw Battle Armor Skeletor at Walmart today, it's the first time I've seen a Deluxe figure in person. Walmart didn't even have shelf space for it, two were sitting in an area tagged for Pokemon. They also had a flocked Panthor, haven't seen one of those in a long time. Sadly there's no longer space set aside for Castle Grayskull so I probably missed my shot there. Also saw the Land Shark tank at Target and they've opened up some shelf space for Revolutions figures and the Origins battle damage set of He-man and Battle Cat.

It seems like the Targets in my area are only getting small shipments in at a time. I've seen Origins Bee, a couple BB 2 packs, and a few T-Rexes. There have been almost no Kingdom figures (of any class, other than a couple Arcee's), and even the Cyberverse has been low the last couple times I went out (to two different Targets).
It's going to be almost a jolting surprise if/when I ever see a fully stocked TF section, just because it hasn't happened in so long.

It should happen for the holliday season. And in any case, there will be A LOT of TF product next year.

I hope you're right. Seems like product hasn't quite been making it here to my neck of the woods, or at least not a lot.

Last time I checked (by the end of July), I only saw Kingdom toys (the first wave Deluxes) on one supermarket chain; otherwise it was mostly licensed motorized or Hot Wheels-esque merchandise.

Meanwhile both Toys'R'Us in my town had one Transformer each: one had a Titan Master Nightbeat, the other had a Spark Armor Shockwave.

I guess Transformers aren't as popular in my country.

My local Target had about 4 each of Rodimus and the World's Collide 4-pack! Unfortunately, I don't get paid until Friday, ugh! Hopefully one of each will still be there, but probably not. Hoping the high price points will deter some people lol.

I have to say, it is a pretty brilliant strategy Walmart has. It's so easy to update the plan-o-gram when you don't stock anything.

Man, I feel for you, I really do. That pic is just so striking that I used it as the thumbnail of an article about distribution and the like.

Just got back from my weekly Walmart groceries and... we got new product in! Sadly, it's nothing Generations-related, but rather it's the Cyberverse Roll and Combine 2-packs: Megatron with Slug and Bumblebee with Swoop. Shamefully I was tempted

Hey everyone, I saw a picture someone posted about how their TF section looks like and it surprised me. On the shelf were only some Kingdom deluxes. And not Arcee. Has anyone else seen something like this. It surprised me because I thought (and am still pretty sure) that Cyberverse is more stocked than WFC Generations. So this would mean that, at least at this area, Cyberverse toys are more popular than Kingdom toys? Cause usually it's the reverse (simply due to the amount of stocking of one live vs the other). He said it's the same all over Sonoma County, Californaia. Kingdom Blackarachnia is not a bad toy at all, I'm surprised it's the only toy still around in that location.

Image

Another question, people used to complain of shelfwaring grapples but they seem all gone now. Were they liquidated or they simply eventually all sold?

My local Walmarts still have more Cyberverse than Generations. Currently the only generations they seem to have are about 10 Core Starscreams each and 4-5 Core Megatrons. With an odd Netflix Rusticon once in a while. Studio Series has been completely bare for at least 2 months (the last 2 Arcee triplets finally sold or clearanced). Cyberverse is stocked fine.

Target on the other hand usually has at least deluxes from Kingdom and SS, along with Cyberverse and the recent Buzzworthy releases. Also 12 T-Wrecks. That will definitely be clearanced at some point.

As for who is hanging around from Kingdom, I've seen Arcee at one store and a mix of Paleotrex and Black Arachnia at another.

Targets in my area always have far more Cyberverse and BB than Generations. Walmart was about the same until product slowed to a crawl.

One store will get one case of Cyberverse figures, so it looks like that is all they have. Then a month later if most of those sell, they will get one case of kingdom deluxe, ( wave 1 again), so it looks like they don't sell so we'll either. It's crazy when you used to think these sections were pretty full of all product lines and they'd be getting a case or 2 per week, now it's like less than 10% of that.

Walmart clearanced out a bunch of Siege stuff as Earthrise was starting. I bought a second Grapple for I think $11, but I had never seen more than 2 of them at once. Then again there wasn't anything in Siege that was overstocked at my local stores, I certainly didn't see the glut of three or four different Megatrons filling the shelves that other people reported.

Looks like Ram Man and Clamp Champ might become pegwarmers.

For me: WFC-E3 Trip-Up & Autobot Daddy-O (Hot Rod Patrol, WFC-E40 Direct-Hit & Power Punch, and the useless WFC-E1 Soundbarrier are hanging on pegs.
