As far as the colors, I wonder if SW's Silverhammer's post was actually the vote for the fan built combiner and not related to G2. (I could be wrong...) At least that's how I took it.... (Which is why I did two separate posts rather than combine in one, hoping to avoid the confusion. I failed... I think...)

The solution is basically not using that particular blend of plastic and dyes. You can still do gold with a different blend. The problem isn't inherent to all gold plastic, just the particular gold plastic that was used in the G2 and Beast Wars eras. Hasbro has evidently moved away from it due to the rising awareness of GPS.

I wouldn't.RAcast wrote:And a follow up, who of us wouldn't buy a golden Alpha Bravo?
RAcast wrote:So here's my question, because I can't tell from what of the picture I can see: Do you think they'll do G2 Gold Slingshot, or will Alpha Bravo steal Slingshot's color scheme again?
And a follow up, who of us wouldn't buy a golden Alpha Bravo?

It's for the fan built combiner, I posted it to see if anyone could pick up on similar pallets. Oh also, in the cross cell on the front you can see a blue Skydive or blue Airraid, similar to Machine Wars Megatron. G2 Skydive's jet mode wasn't all blue like that, only the wings. Nor is it G2 Airraid who had a navy blue jet body, but red wings.
