Emerje wrote:So Hasbro can do a lot of four in a case of Ultras, but for Generations Voyagers they can only do two? I really don't get Hasbro's logic here. Sure I understand two to a case of Leaders since they make for a big box, but that's clearly not the reasoning behind the Voyager cases so what gives? Things would be a lot easier to find if they put more in a case compared to stores often ordering only one case at a time and selling out to a single person that wants the two characters.

Voyagers are 4 a case I believe, 2 of 2 figures. Simply a matter of streamlining logistics and spreading out releases as the bigger the figure, the tougher the sell as the saying goes.

And surprise, surprise, Bumblebee is packed 2 a case (again?). He has no problems selling from what I've seen however, from Wave 1 I've seen Grimlock and Starscream more often.

You would think, but no, only 2 per case. I had ordered TR Sentinel Prime and Galvatron from TFSource and they mailed them right in their sealed case.

A Transformer that only transforms halfway seems like selling a jigsaw puzzle with pieces missing. Hope they eventually do produce a better Slipstream toy, at least.

I'm really disapointed with this decision. Because I would have liked proper legend/ions Cyberverse designs for my characters collections. Take not much space and relatively easy on the wallet. But those halformers are just teases of what they could have been.

What a waste of plastic! Not for adult collectors. Meant for kids.

English Review of Cyberverse Ultra Shockwave

Thanks to user chuckdawg1999, we have an English review of Cyberverse Ultra Class Shockwave. Chuck bought his off Amazon, and came nice and early! He himself said:

Ultra Class Shockwave is a surprising addition to the Cyberverse line, it is by far the figure with the most articulation and most complicated transformation. Much like the Warrior class version, this Shockwave features an unobtrusive gimmick that if anything adds to the figure. If you're going to buy one Ultra Class figure, make it Shockwave. If you're going to buy one Cyberverse figure period, make it Shockwave.

The review detailed the figure, showing off Ultra Shockwave's surprising articulation, as well as his "Wave Cannon" Action Attack. The figure itself has a much more complicated transformation that the Warrior, which involves folding the cannon to his back, and then folding out an arm that doesn't have one. This also means you can allow him to have a cannon-less arm.

Reviews of his fellow Wave 2 figures can be found here.

Chuck seemed very happy about the figure, but what about you? Let us know in the Pub forums below!

So the gun arm doesn't pop off and peg into the top, it just swings around. Even better!

Yeah, I'm really glad I was right about the hidden arm. It would have been so easy for Hasbro to just make the gun pop off the end of his arm and call it a day, but moving the whole arm out of the way and slipping out a third arm is a real stroke of genius on their part.

It also leaves a hole in the side. I want to stress again to be careful transforming the fake arm back, it does have a tendency to get stuck.

Not really sure if I'd count the knee articulation as legit for the bot mode, the point is below the natural bend and sculpted joint area :-?

It is so unfair to the entire line that Shockwave's toys are all so much better then the rest. That is pretty cool!

As noted in the haul thread, found Shadow Striker at a local Target. Fairly simple transformation but cool look.

Saw warrior shockwave tonight, but passed. It's either the ultra or the Siege one now, and they had Shadow Striker, meaning I just missed Shockwave. Drat.

I held the large Optimus Prime for a good amount of time, and really really almost bought him. Didn't quite bite, but he looks really good for his toyline and price. I may get one eventually down the line

Was lucky enough to score Acid Storm as well, at Bridgeton MO Walmart. Haven't opened it yet.

Seibertron user and our old pal chuckdawg1999 bought a Cyberverse Warrior Class Megatron off Amazon second hand and made and sent us a review!

In the video he shows his Action Attack, with a spring loaded arm, which launches out his pink energon mace on a string. Chuck preferred this version over the Ultimate Class, but the figure still has problems, namely, the lack of a head-swivel. he himself said:

Warrior Class Megatron is a fun figure from the new Cyberverse line. In some ways, the figure is a bit better than the Ultimate Class version in terms of transformation and gimmick. Some might be disappointed by the lack of a head swivel and no elbow on the left arm, but it's an overall solid figure.

Reviews of the other Wave 2 figures can be found here.

So does this make you wanna buy the figure more? Or are you even less interested? Watch the video below and tell us your thoughts in the Pub forums below!

Spotted these two at Walmart today. They're not even in there system yet. Contemplated the fight it would have took to buy Shockwave, but passed.

Found Wave 2 Warriors at Walmart last night. They asked for a price prompt, but no real issues like I've had in the past when those pop up. Sadly, Windblade's only OK.

She looks like a K.O. of the R.I.D. figure, is that seriously the best Hasbro could do?
