Metroplex now sell for around 500$ now. And easily.
Mine was yellowing and full of dust, no box, yet I still received 300$CAN in store credits at my local Geek Store.

So that Generations Metroplex of yours, if you don't really care about it that much, SELL IT. Now is the perfect time before a redo of him comes out.

Cybertron Metroplex is this year's titan: Metroplex from the 2006 Cybertron show.

Fuk! I missread.

I thought we were talking about Generations Metroplex, the first titan that was sold for the outrageous price of 100$ at the time. #-o

Well, I wonder if/when Legacy Cybertron Metroplex will increase in value? The OG toy did so maybe this one too down the line?
I also wonder, is that mold (or the 2006 version) Select-able? :-?

Did all titans go up in value?

To all you non-child Transformers fans. How the hell do you store all the Titans? I know I live in Holland and we have small living spaces but we got like 7 Titans? Nemesis will be up next, I skipped the newest Metroplex because he's just an upscale and bland as hell.

So far, all those that are G1 related did. Even that horrible Fortmax. The one with the lowest value remain Triptycon because so many units have been produced. For Black Zarack, all the stores stock have to be sold first so it may take a while.

I do wonder how long for the Ark and C.Metro before their value increase. It may take a few years.

It is curious that the Guardian Robot already sold out on Pulse. I wonder if they adjusted their production run numbers based on how Black Zarak did.

I'm holding off for a sale and willing to skip it if necessary. Hopefully he has stock on hand whenever Pulse does their next warehouse sale.

The quantity available for pre-order on Pulse and the quantity produced probably don't have any relationship to each other in this case. This figure has fan channel distribution including Entertainment Earth and BBTS, and they're still available there.

Oh, no doubt, and I assume he'll come back in stock as well on Pulse. I just didn't recall Black Zarak selling out on Pulse at all last year. But then again, the pre-order window was also much longer. You could be right the production numbers are probably similar and they just adjusted their pre-order limits. Especially if there is a first run/second run scenario where different dates would come into play. I'm selfishly just hoping he will be in stock on Pulse at some time whenever they do their next sale. (And hoping to show enough restraint to not buy him at full price before then.)

Most of my figures are in storage in various places in my tiny apartment. I try to keep the stronger boxes for everything, especially the Titans. I'm glad they don't do that business anymore where the Titan is packed with arm detached or some nonsense.

Well, looking at this blue and white Supreme, I'd be tempted to buy it just so I can customize it into "Québecois Supreme."

He got the right colors.

I remember living in a 1 bedroom before I was married 20+ years ago. Of course the largest TF back then I had was the Original Fort Max, but it was just one, and it sat in the bottom of my walk-in closet. Most of my collection was in boxes.

We live in a 2 bedroom currently, but in 2020, during COVID we converted our garage to a living space, so now its a 3 bedroom. We also built a custom shelf for my 8 primary Titans (and some odds/ends) Predaking was originally in the spot BZ now occupies, Its awesome how I always hoped he would go there, and now he does :)

The Ark and Cybertron Metroplex currently reside on top of a shelf in my sons room (Cybertron Metroplex eventually to be replaced with The Nemesis). PotP Predking is in my sons closet, but I'm trying to find a place where eventually he will stand with his Rival (MPG Raiden). Titans and Combiners make up the bulk of my collection, so while most fans may have hundreds of smaller TF's, the Titans and Combiners are all I have, making my collection relatively small by comparison (even if made up of bigger Bots).

That's why I am passing on The Guardian Robot, and likely any other Titans that are not the ones in my signature, as all the ones I really wanted (except for 2) have been made.

They have dedicated space on top of a Kallax. I have an oversized tote for storing them, but I don't like using it because the risk of damage is too high and it doesn't manage space.

At the moment the ark is propped up on the floor of my toy room, so the struggle is real.

I have various areas in our house for my transformers and other collectables. My Titans are on shelves in our den.

I do think you've touched on an interesting topic because most people living in America don't truly realize just how big their houses are compared to the rest of the world, several have these 2400 to 3600 square foot homes with enough space to house several of my collections. It's been that way for a long time actually, many of the farmhouses were built fairly large despite how difficult it is to heat them in winter. I imagine it was to house large families who needed several kids to help work the farms in those days. But as we advanced we kept the concept of large houses so that now builders do not seem to even quote or bid on a house less than 2400 square feet. I personally don't want lot of house to manage with extra rooms to clean only to look good for the occasional guest.

Even as small of a house that I want, even I am often astounded at the small size of some houses in other countries just being LDK, and think where would I put my collection in such a place? It would definitely have to be 3/4 smaller than is it now and I'd be hard pressed to decide which items to go if it ever came down to it.

I only have the one ARK Titan, mainly because I got into Transformers rather late in the game as nothing appealed to me until WFC sculpts. Finally they nailed the G1 versions with more advanced articulation. I almost got Omega Supreme but at the time I thought/felt that was too expensive for me to pay for a figure, particularly a line in which I only dabbled in for a few characters. I have always kept an eye out on certain lines simply because I've been a fan since the 80's, but none of them since has really captured their essence until the last 4-5 years. And I finally decided to start buying them in 2020. Wow, that was more long winded than I had anticipated...

The only Titan I'm currently looking forward to seeing how it turns out is Nemesis, and if it appeals to me I'll get it to face off against the ARK. After that the only one I'd consider it G1 looking Metroplex that doesn't look so blocky as the one from a few years ago.

And I'd totally buy a reissue of Omega Supreme, similar to hoe they reissued Jetfire this year.

How am I supposed to afford a 2400 sq ft house when I buy all these Transformers

Although not well traveled, I am aware that many dwellings in other countries are of many varying sizes. I've never lived in a place as large as what you describe. Our current duplex is about 900 square feet, and again, its only because we converted the garage into a living space that it seems larger than what it really is. Also we have the good graces of a Landlord who lives next door, and has been a personal friend for decades and charges a rent that is about half the going rate. If not for these fortuitous circumstances, we would be in a much smaller, unpleasant, but more expensive dwelling, and I would very likely not be collecting anything.

You must build your house OUT of Transformers.

My big boys either stand on the floor, or have dedicated little desks with their weaponizer/modulator and micromasters crew.

Most stand at the back of the top of a shelf, and they also usually have partners/topical characters standing on/with them

The only Titan I ever opened and displayed was UW Devastator. I have Fort Max and Trypticon that I got on liquidation, but they're sitting in their shipping boxes because they were packed with limbs separated and once attached can't be removed, so I wouldn't be able to store them in the box again. I missed out on Predaking because I was waiting for a sale that never came and I wasn't happy with the lack of a sword. I jumped on Scorponok and Black Zarak but like Fort Max they're sitting in their boxes. After passing on the Ark and having to cancel Cybertron Metroplex I've resigned myself to not getting the Titan Class anymore.

It hurts a little, but I passed on Omega and I'll pass on Sentinel, even though both look fantastic.

I have both characters represented in the form on YotS and Energon. They're fun and I like them. And I think they scale better with my combiners. Plus, I have no damned room.

But even with no room, I'll get the Nemesis to compliment the Ark.

I only have two. Devastator is in pieces in a drawer and Omega Supreme is tucked away in a cupboard.

I'm fortunate enough to have a basement with enough room for book shelves and the titans are all on the top shelves. I can fit 1 or 2 more before I have to rearrange things. My biggest fear is our cat getting into the basement and having a field day on the top shelves.
