Love seeing these two together like this, as I always played with Prowl (whom I called "Prowl the Owl") and Scourge as archenemies as a kid.
That is, until my Scourge broke at the wings.
As a kid, I always thought that Scourge's crazy leg design was some kind of foreshadowing to the designs that would come in Beast Machines, as I got Scourge (and Prowl) around the time that Fox Kids had started to advertise the Beast Machines cartoon with promos that showed Cheetor with similarly-angled legs.
Though, looking at the two Prowl galleries, how come there aren't any images of them in robot mode with their Spark Crystals hidden away?
I ask because, as a kid (and sorta to this day), I kinda thought that the Spark Crystals were meant to be hidden away from view like how the characters' Sparks in the cartoon were meant to stay inside their bodies like their hearts, and that exposing them would expose an obvious weak spot of vulnerability (you can imagine my confusion as a kid when it came to those toys whose Spark Crystals weren't either hidden away or at least obscured in some fashion, like how TM2 Cybershark's and Nightglider's were openly displayed in full view on each's robot mode chest).
Though, Prowl's box art showing the red part on his chest might've also influenced my transforming him with the Spark Crystal hidden away.
