His vehicle mode reminds me of Beast Machines Jetstorm a little bit, hehehe.

The yellow highlight and the red canopy on the cockpit? Wrong Dreadwing, Hasbro:

Was that a deluxe class figure?

Yup, and an original mold among several retools to boot.

What was he retooled into?

Nobody: what I meant was the majority of the Beast Hunters Autobots and Decepticons were retools of their Robots in Disguise figures, while he and a few others were original molds.
Oh yeah that makes sense, and seems obvious now, my brain just interpreted it the other way when I first it.

Thanks!

My Armada Megatron arrived today, and he's mostly okay, nothing spectacular but not awful either. It's a shame that the arms don't have full range of motion below the shoulders so poseability is limited, but the transformation is nice and simple and he looks good on the shelf.

I'll still wait for the Machine Wars Starscream version, most likely with a new head.

Wow... I don't know anymore.

My local Walmart finally caught up with current offerings... sorta. They basically skipped over anything past Deluxe Wave 1 and got Evolution Wave 2 on the shelves... but not in the system. Still no Core, which makes me :BANG_HEAD:

I'm almost warming up to the shade of blue on this guy
Wish he had more yellow/gold though, too much gray

Still holding out hope it's just bad pics like the first product shot I saw of wreckers Bulkhead

Dreadwing looks pretty good. I wish they had used translucent yellow though, the red doesn't really fit him for the chest. He is my favorite Prime Decepticon, and one of my all time favorite Decepticons in general, so I will buy him

Agreed on the translucent yellow
And on the favorite decepticon from Prime

Why does his decepticon symbol look slightly different? Is that a nod to something?

Gotta be something related to a "Seeker" or something. Unless it is something related to King Atlas

Looks identical to the one from the original toy to me...

Yeah, I dont even search for Core or Deluxe at retail anymore. Neither my Walmarts, nor Targets are carrying them. Its all Amazon for me, unless I travel like I did a couple weeks ago and happen to find well stocked Targets far from my home that actually carry merch that isn't RotB or Earthspark.

Which he also had in the show's cartoon model:

Skyquake's toy had it too:

It first appeared on such figures as ROTF Mindwipe, ROTF Skystalker, and 2010 Sunspot:

not to go off topic or veer the conversation away from this new Bot, but I recently spotted the War Dawn 2pk on ebay and was wondering if i totally missed this release because I don't recall even hearing what retailer it's from. Some listings say Game Stop, but I've not seen it on their site.
Thanks!

It's supposed to be a San Diego Comic Con exclusive that'll pop up on Pulse after, while also being a Gamestop exclusive in Canada where it first popped up

Alright, not sure if these are legit…
But this photo of Dead End’s alt mode; if that’s Photoshopped, that’s pretty damn good work, because it looks legit to me.
And I’m almost surprised we haven’t had any official word of more G2 figures before now.

I'm really liking the G2 Stunticons we've gotten so far. Really hoping we see something for Motormaster soon

Maybe those are just decals someone applied, essentially a custom? Looks neat either way.

Only reason I'm leaning towards it being real is because we do have listings for G2 Dead End for the Toxitron collection

The (unreleased) G2 decos indeed belong to the Walmart Toxitron Collection, plus they have their own thread. Gator Mirage should be G2 Dead End's wave mate.

I got lucky and at the last Target i stopped at at 9:30 last night on my way home, I found Swoop and Scarr! I also bought a Cyberverse Universe Tiny Arms, and now Volcanicus has formed!

Big Volcanicus looks good with the upgrade, but the core class looks better than the basic set from PoTP.

We're 5 weeks from supposed release, and still no reviews for Nemesis?

DeathReviews and chuckdawg, I am disappoint. [-( [-(

I finally opened Motormaster and it's a great figure! It's too bad :HASBRO: :TAKARATOMY: chose not to give him a firearm of some sort to wield. I was totally surprised how heavy this trailer was. If I was told there was die cast pieces inside I would have believed it.

I will get around to staging all the limb parts from the trailer and decide on a upgrade kit...'nuff said! :VEHI:

He really is a good figure, they all are. I prefer them displayed as a separate group than as Menasor, but I have limited space so I've been contemplating selling my set.
