I agree especially considering he's Commander Class, and at that price what could an extra accessory truly cost them? Literally pennies for a blaster/rifle. And frankly one shouldn't have to resort to 3rd party sellers and have to pay $10-20 extra just for a basic accessory! I can understand if someone want an upgrade of some sort but to have to resort to them is another thing entirely.

I probably won't ever form Menasor due to space issues either so I will try to sell off his trailer if I can. I mean a fully formed bot would basically be like a Titan right, essentially as high as Omega Supreme or at the very least Jetfire.

The expensive part I understand, but don't most reviewers get legit copies of figures if it's within a certain amount of time to the street date?

Nope, Hasbro stopped doing that years ago. Now they only do samples when they're trying to do a big push on something, usually in the form of a large blind crate, like their recent bundle of stuff for RotB. And you'd have to be really popular to get one of those.

More Volcanicus, because he is really fun.

It's funny: as since Cyberverse i really can only see Swoop as a lady, so I am going with a female Swoop here for Core class; the 2nd Grimlock works as Cyberverse Tiny Arms, so no issues there with 2 identical leg bots; and as Cyberverse is the only good Volcanicus, I like to this this one has the same personality, even if it has a new limb who is a medic/dynamic alt mode inventor.

Another Hasbro Pulse Transformers stream has been announced for 20th June at 4pm ET, this one promising both new Legacy and Rise of the Beasts reveals. At first I thought this would be revealing wave 4, but the wording of the announcement makes it sound like the focus will mostly be on Rise of the Beasts, so I'm guessing this stream will just announce more exclusives for Legacy instead, perhaps some Toxitron stuff, and wave 4 could be saved for SDCC or a similar event. Either way, I'm looking forward to a pre-order going up for Dreadwing.

They didn't mention SS86, so I'm guessing Buzzworthy Hound and Voyager Ratchet are still not going to be revealed yet. RotB missing numbers so far are #104. Characters without a SS RotB reveal are: Wheeljack, Stratosphere, Nightbird & Optimus Primal.

Foe Legacy Evolution (aside form wave 4) It would be awesome if we got some Legacy Evolution Selects reveals (Dinoking??) How about that Buzzworthy Towline shown months ago?

Wondering if this could also potentially be a Haslab reveal or something. Like reveal now, show off the model at SDCC next month. I doubt it, but I can hope

Also, those boxes are sent out well after most of the toys are found in stores and online retailers. The only time they sent something out early was with Kingdom but no one could open or do anything with the sets until AFTER a certain date, which was after all of wave one was found in stores or online.

I don't know, we've already seen leaks for four Evolution wave 4 figures now, they might want to get out ahead of the rest of them.

I think they'll hold off on the next HasLab. They've done overlapping HL campaigns before, but I don't think there's any reason to rush.

Just came across this leaked info…
I’m willing to bet both Springer and Soundwave are new molds…
I was thinking Soundwave would be in SS86, but I’m thinking this will be a G1 version, especially with word of more Cassetticons already being leaked.

I feel like we heard rumors of Cybertron Hotshot before. Interesting that Soundwave is a leader, I wonder how many tapes he'll come with at that price?

The difference between a voyager and leader is roughly 20 bucks before taxes, so I expect 2 cassettes to come with him. Since we got Rumble in SS86 and Frenzy is sure to follow, I'm guessing the classic duo of Laserbeak and Ravage will come with this figure.

I'll be stunned and laughing if it turns out to be a rerelease of the Netflix set in Legacy packaging.

Though Blaster and Twincast did get a cassette with each of them and they remained at voyager price. So maybe with Soundwave we'll get both birds and Ravage for the extra money.

I expect "leader" Soundwave to just be a reissue of the Netflix Soundwave set.
I'm 99% sure of that and I'll be fine with it.

But if in the 1% chance that everything are a brand new mold, with no "Siege Soundwave scars", and if he comes with a completely remade Lazerbeak and Ravage cassettes, I'd be impressed.

Time to get the eyes checked. I read that as HotsPot instead of HotsHot and briefly got excited about a potential set of Protectobots.

Darn them all to heck. :BANG_HEAD:

Leader Soundwave?

Hopefully it's just a Netflix repack and not some bullshit like a repack with Buzzsaw or something.

What if it's Marvel Soundwave? With that shade of purple and the mouth?

I could go for a Soundwave that that can handle all of the different sized cassettes that have already been released in other lines. Never gonna happen because :HASBRO: has to sell new cassettes, but I can dream.

I suspect that this "Leader" Soundwave is a re-release of the Netflix toy. The brand team have said before that they keep an eye on the secondary market (which is why Legacy Dirge and the Buzzworthy Bumblebee Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime happened), and that version of Soundwave is a highly sought after and rare figure so it would make sense to give it another run for those who missed out on it, and fingers crossed the yellowing plastic issue is fixed. As for the cassettes, I never much liked the Siege/Netflix Micromaster version of Ravage, so a completely new or heavily retooled version would be nice, but even if it is just the same that will be fine too. Perhaps they could throw in Buzzsaw and/or Ratbat to bump up the parts count and justify the Leader price tag?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this release will be a rerelease of the Netflix mold, plus a new mold core class level Ravage and perhaps a new mold core class level Buzzsaw, thus bringing it up to leader price.

I tend to think this will be Netflix Soundwave with cassettes also. However that would be perfect for SS86....

I mean, I know one of the TF team said they would want to do another new Soundwave for SS86 to make him as tall as Kingdom Blaster ( although the difference in height is pretty insignificant). I think both Kingdom Blaster and Netflix Soundwave are perfect for SS86 as they are....

Are we glancing over that tidbit about Springer being a Leader, or am I reading that wrong? Because I don't feel that bot is worth a Leader price tag at all.

As for Soundwave being a leader, well the only way I'd buy into that is if it were all new mold. The Cassettes as well need to be new. I'm not paying Leader price for that Netflix retooled version that wasn't G1 to begin with, and those dated cassettes are definitely not worth being reissued IMO. And frankly I just don't see it if we're on the cusp of new cassettes, why reissue the older style and then in a couple years they make new versions of Ravage and Laserbeak? I mean if that's the plan I'll just wait for the better versions in a couple years then.

So far only ones that interest me from tnhat list are Steeljaw and Strongarm.

Not sure what else they could release that's movie themed anyway, pretty much every character has already been seen in some form aside from Unicron and Stratosphere.

That said, I don't really know what exists for that line being as everything is so scattered about. But I do like the looks of Nightbird in bot mode so if a proper version is made she'd be top of the list. I also like Mirage's bot mode but I'm not as keen on him because of the alt change and to me that is jazz's from and I can't get it out of my head. Wheeljack for some reason is a big miss on both counts, don't care for either mode or how he was portrayed in the movie.

As for Stratosphere pretty sure that one would have to be a Leader if made, and while I thought it was kind of neat the design isn't for me enough to buy it. Still way too much Bay in the designs for my taste.

Cybertron Hotshot is cool to see, but since I'm the weirdo that actually likes the Selects Hound-repaint Hotshot, I'm actually more excited about the potential Excellion repaint here.

Leader Soundwave is very weird, because it's the only figure for next year we have a listing for that doesn't specify which iteration of the character it is (other than the Strongarm repack, but she didn't specify universe in her first listing either). Gears, Sureshot, Sandstorm, and Deluxe Optimus all say G1 in the listing, so the lack of it here is either a weird oversight, or it's like Animated Prowl just being listed as Prowl and it isn't actually G1 Soundwave (or it is a repack like y'all are thinking, but then there would be 2 G1 Soundwaves in Legacy and this listing would still be weird for not saying repack). For the sake of not getting my hopes up though, I'm just going to assume it'll be G1 Soundwave so I can't be disappointed if it isn't.

Also, is it just me or do we have a surprisingly high amount of Leader listings? UNI already has BW Tigerhawk, G1 Sandstorm, Armada Galvatron, and now mystery Soundwave, and there's still that mystery Evolution Optimus that we don't know the identity or release plan for either (which is part of why I keep speculating that Evolution might have 5 waves).

Also the pipeline reveals from the last stream were Legacy Wave 4, and both times they've done pipeline reveals thus far those reveals have been the meat of what was shown in the immediate next stream.

If anything I would think they would want to save Studio Series reveals for SDCC since we just had a summer theatrical release to capitalize on.

Gauntlet101010 wrote:What if it's Marvel Soundwave? With that shade of purple and the mouth?
A Marvel-colored release of the Netflix Soundwave set was rumored/leaked as a exclusive alongside the first mention of the now-revealed Miner Megatron, we just don't know where/how it's potentially releasing unless it's part of the Comic 2-pack's currently-unknown contents.

that Leader Soundwave makes absolutely no sense.

Wave got a voyager in 2019, another voyager in 2021, a rerelease of the 2019 voyager just last year, and he got a Core release last in 2021.

He literally does not need another toy.

Like SS86 leader Springer, that just stinks of wasted leader slots for more G1 overkill trying to incrementally make toys look more like the cell shaded boxes of 40 years ago.
