Adams doing a Trekkie 8-}

Would someone like to Photoshop this? Twice?

One with Adams given Star Trek colours and the other with the nacelles given Adams colours.

It'd be a fun kitbash, the nacelles themselves could turn into weapons.

Video Review - Takara Tomy Transformers Adventure TAV 15 Lockdown

We've seen in-hand images of Takara Tomy's redeco of Animated Lockdown into their Adventure line, but thanks to fellow Seibertronian chuckdawg1999, we now also have a video review of the sort of movieverse repaint of the figure that started it all for the bounty hunter.

Last summer a lot of fans online tossed the idea around of the Animated Lockdown mold being done up in the AOE colors. Well Takara must have had the same thought, because this version of the bounty hunter is really close to those gritty movie colors. All of the issues with the first release of the mold are still here, but that doesn't take away from just how cool this figure is. If you've never experienced the mold that spawned the phrase, "Lockdowned the legs" give this bot a look.

My Burning Lockdowns hands do not fold out so they are in line with the arms.

Always liked this figure, has a strong look that doesn't really mimic any other.

Canada? I noticed that some way in MN (WolfmanJake iirc)got there around a weeks from Japan release. If it's registered or parcel, the arrival might be faster for you guys.

Well yeah, thats why I mentiones SAL shipping in my post. The others take way less time. EMS being the quickest of course. SAL is you taking the baggage space of a plane and can take more time for the space to be available (as well as not being direct flights).

My guess is that TFSource, from whom I bought TAV Lockdown, Bombshell, and Shrapnel, had their order shipped out just as the figures were being released official in Takara's market (or perhaps a bit beforehand). They likely pay for faster shipping options as they'll make up some of that cost in the mark-up they charge for their goods. For example, each of the Insecticons I bought were $15.99 USD, while Lockdown was $34.99 USD.

Just noticed some pecularities in Shrapnel and Bombshell. Hasbro's Sharpnel aside from including Reflector had left his "horns" or antennae unpainted. In the TAV version, it's painted silver ( so the extra paint was the cost equivalent to drop off Reflector?)

Hasbro Bombshell's head had partial paint apps to his face but not the entire head. TAV on the otherhand had the entire head painted but left his antenna plain.

Kind of a bit disappointing that TT didn't go full pain apps.

I just wanted to mention that I dont think reflector has anything to do with this. They would have included paint apps regardless of if he came with shrapnel or not and the reason he isnt included is because there is no one for bombshell and they can sell them both as solo figures.

Also, thanks for pointing out something though: targetmaster reflector is a Hasbro exclusive mold for the time being.

I'd also like to point out that Takara's Shrapnel doesn't seem to suffer from Hasbro's "lazy left antenna" syndrome.

Hasbro's? Yes. I've got FOUR copies of Hasbro's "Skrapnel", and with each, in alt mode, its left antenna droops down far lower than the right one. With the two Takara ones I own, the antennae remain level with one another in alt mode.

I forget which antenna it is but this also happens with the G1 reissue of Skrapnel that came out this year.

Maybe Shrapnel had a stroke? It would explain his vocal tic.
