The only thing that would have made me laugh harder when taking this picture would be if Walmart hadn't taken all of the Velocitron figures off the shelf (no idea where they put them, they didn't go on clearance) so I could add Burn Out to the photo.

Just realized the shot also included two different peg warmers named Arcee.

They did in my local Walmart, in two different spots: Road Hauler in the Holiday Clearance and the Deluxes in the regular Clearance. The Deluxes didn't last long at below $10 a pop.

Now that's sad

Yeah they had some figures on "clearance" for a while. But as Jelze put that might have caused the unbalance of things and maybe that's why it was for a short period....?

Anyway I feel :HASBRO: :TAKARATOMY: should consider randomly putting in a new upcoming figure in every several hundred boxes, the boxes are a "blind" thing already just to give us fans a taste until the next wave is ready to distribute. Just some wishful thinking.... ;)^ . :VEHI:

What's even more frustrating about the current glut of shelf-warming figures from last year, is that Hasbro is going to add to Legacy Evolution a package refresh of yet another toy that is among these current shelf-warmers: Blitzwing.

That a case of where you are, obviously.

Blitzwing only have ever appeared at my local geek store. That's the only place I saw it live. The rest were online only.

Yeah, the Voyagers did hit clearance at the same store. Hauler and Override started at $25, then the remaining Haulers hit $17 in the pic, but got down to $10 before they really sold. Interestingly there were more Haulers on Clearance than in the toy aisle.

Heck, even Scourge hit clearance. At the time I thought they were making room for Galaxy Shuttle and Hot Rod, but we know how that turned out.

But Deluxe just never hit clearance, they're likely in storage or something.

There have been at least 10 BB Arcees at one local Walmart I shop at every Tuesday for the last 6 months, I'll take another pic tomorrow because Im sure they'll still be there.

Pre-ordering online seems to be the way to go. I got my wave 3 core Dinos and Axelgrease this weekend from Amazon. I've seen barely any deluxe wave 2 in store yet, (never really saw wave 1 deluxes other than a couple random one-offs). Wave 3 is shipping online however. :???:

I’ve had this conversation multiple times with a friend and fellow seibertron member.
I suppose location (region) of the U.S. may not matter, but I live in a suburb of KC that isn’t some tiny town. I teach at one of the two high schools, and the student population is 2,400.
There’s only one Target here, but in 10 minutes I can be to another one, in 15 minutes I can be to another, and in 25 minutes I could be to a few.
I never did see Origins Jazz, my wife snagged one for me while she was on a work trip passing through Omaha, NE.
Not sure what’s going on or why, but the photo below is from yesterday, although the TF section looked the exact same a couple weeks ago if not even earlier.
Preorders are absolutely the way to go now.
I haven’t seen Legacy or SS86/SS deluxe figures in what feels like forever; in reality it’s probably been at least a couple months, maybe closer to three.
The last couple times I had been to Target there weren’t any Core class except 1 Wheelie.
Not sure what anyone else thinks, but for me, it does seems like deluxe figures are MIA.

Also, if you look, that Blitzwing is in Evolution packaging. There were 2 in older packaging, 2 in Evolution packaging, and 1 Galvatron. After this photos was taken someone bought one of the Blitzy’s.

Man, those walkie talkies are such a colossal waste of shelf space. What kid would even want those in 2023? The smart thing would have been wrist communicators like in the movie.

Totally agree with both of your points.

Also, there are only 9 pegs for TF on that wall... Between Earthspark, RotB, Legacy Evolution, Studio Series/SS86, and Buzzworthy, how are there not a minimum of 12-13 for TF figures?
That huge void just looks sad.

Got Swoop and Skarr recently, and I gotta say, they're fun little guys. Skarr's got the same issue that Slug, Sludge, and Grimlock have in the arms, but otherwise he's really fun to mess with. Swoop obviously is one of the best Dinobots in terms of articulation, and I really enjoy how simple he is to flip between dino mode and bot mode.

Volcanicus is starting to come together, and I gotta say he's pretty solid, but my copy of Skarr has a bit of trouble keeping the fist tabbed in. Only major issue I have is the way the arms work. You can have proper elbows, but bad looking fists, or gorilla arms, and good looking fists. Otherwise though, I like how he's looking and can't wait to get Snarl to complete the set

In hunting multiple stores last week, I found legacy Evolution Blitzwing right alongside vanilla Legacy Blitzwing, meaning i missed Armada Megatron in 2 stores and now have more frikkin Blitzwings.

Between Blitzwing, Galvatron, and SS86 Starscream, the leader shelves are severely clogged.

Anyways, have some bugs. I am 3 down, maybe 4 to go?

I received notification that my Amazon Orion Pax/Senator Shockwave 2pk arrived. When I opened the box it was the Miner Megatron/Senator Ratbat 2pk instead. That might explain why the prices for both sets were flip-flopped & Amazon never changed it. The other 2pk is scheduled to arrive August 3, so here's hoping they don't screw up & send the same set twice.

I also received the Megatron/Ratbat set. I'm assuming this is the case for everyone? Or did someone actually receive the Optimus/Shockwave set?

Well that's not good then! A lot of us ordered only the Ratbat set off Amazon and Shockwave off Pulse. Pulse already shipped their sets so I have the Shockwave/Orion Pax set, I sure don't need two of that set! I guess we'll see if complaining will get them to send the right set when the time comes.

I've started playing with the new Deluxe wave. Devcon is nice if very simplistic, though that's true to his G1 origins, so no complaints there. Axlegrease isn't perfect, the joints are all too loose and the tabs are all too tight. But I love the colors and how new accessories make a new alt mode, and the Junkion play pattern hasn't gotten old yet. I'll get to Beachcomber later in the week.

Well, guess I'll know sooner than later, just got an arrival notice for Friday instead of August.

As soon as I saw confirmation that the sets were mixed up, I cancelled my amazon order. I will wait until everything is in stock to order.

I may have missed this, but has it been said when pre-orders are going up for Legacy Evolution Wave 4? I've decided I'm going to get Shadow Striker along with Dreadwing, but nothing has come up on Amazon or Hasbro Pulse yet.

Probably around SDCC time, so mid-July

JTPrime posted that wave 4 has already appeared on a US bill of lading. Based on stream comments, posters are speculating that they may release directly instead of going through a preorder window

Looks like Amazon realized their mixup. The Ratbat/Megatron set now says "Arriving by tomorrow" instead of Aug 2nd. So I assume this package will contain OP/Shocky.
