Supposedly Snarl will be accompanied by Slug, Sludge and an Optimus Prime repack. Which works for me; Grimlock, Swoop and Scarr were the first to appear in my area, stores having skipped Waves 1 & 2.

I pre-ordered most of the wave though BBTS, not sure why I did, but I did.

I really want Dreadwing, and BBTS gets leaders fast, so at least he is the one I really wanted and planned to do it.

I think the rest were just concerns over availability, given when this wave will likely be released

Reviews for Bludgeon and Trashmaster are up
I love them both. I pre-ordered Bludgeon because I didn't want a repeat of Tarn (I'm still waiting on Tarn from Amazon and I pre-ordered him on entertainment earth in case that falls through)

I hope there are more junkions next year

I dont want axlegrease or a second crashbar and I still really want to make a combiner

More retools of the existing deluxes would be fine by me

Seems all but certain there will be a Crashbar repaint to have a second arm for the combiner. Not sure how it will release whether mainline, Buzzworthy or Selects etc.

Of course I thought we'd get a Predacon based on Kingdom Wingfinger back in 2021 and that never happened so....

So after wave four, is evolution done and we transition to Universe?

There's a rumor that the Crashbar repaint would be Wreck-Garr.
I'd prefer an original character. Why not another Junky Fembot?

An amazing find at a Walmart in Sikeston, MO. I saw the entire Toxitron line on the shelves. I picked up Sideswipe and Cloudcover (not pictured). I had already bought Dead End from Hasbro Pulse. It was just great to see so many new ones in the store.

Wingfinger being one of the few WFC figures to not get a repaint, and indeed one of the very few gimmick centered bots to not get a repaint, is still odd.

I too hope for a Crashbar repaint, that is a fun mold, and I do want to form a junkasaurus. I have greatly enjoyed the junkions

So after receiving the War Dawn set and hearing the rattling around of loose parts I was worried...
Upon opening it it's clearly evident that the Kup mold is live way beyond its usage date, those detachable limbs just are not holding up at all over time. As much as I like the look of Dion the arms falling off just by looking at the figure is very disappointing, I really wished that they had retool the arms to eliminate this feature for future repaints before utilizing it on such niche characters.
That said, it is a very neat looking set!

New Stock Images and Reviews for Upcoming Legacy Toys

We have new images and reviews for upcoming Legacy Evolution figures including Bombshell, Strongarm, Bludgeon and Shadow Striker.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Shadow Striker is a great figure but there are lots of little things going on with it that might turn some people off. First, I feel labeling the figure from the Cyberverse Universe is a disservice as the use of this mold is clearly meant to homage the TFCC convention exclusive. That leads to the second point, this mold is meant for Robots In Disguise Sideburn who we know is coming at a later point. With that said I find it hard to recommend this figure since once Sideburn is released most of this version will become redundant.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:What some new parts and paint can do for a mold is fantastic. Elita-1 and Minerva were ok, but Strongarm is the best use of this mold. Outside of an entirely new mold, this is the best modern interpretation of Strongarm we'll get and it's my favorite figure of the wave.

I saw him for the first time Tuesday at Walmart, keep checking. Also saw Inferno for the first time at the same store. Still no sign of Tarn yet...

(Everything else behind Inferno is Armada Starscream and Jhiaxus).

This Bludgeon is just Tarn in cosplay.
I'll be skipping that one.

I haven't been keeping up -- is there any word about the Dinobots ever being released as a box set?

You mean the Core Legacy ones?

No clue.

But I would really like a Select box set of them, repainted/remolded into Monstructor or something.

I was holding out hope for a deluxe class set for Monstructor, but this kinda takes the wind out of those sails. I'm genuinely not excited about these at all, but the Raiden trainbots are the only bots I've bought in over a year, so I'm dealing with withdrawals here.

I sympathize with some of these sentiments.

But I'm pretty certain a Core Dinoking Box Set from Pulse has to be in the very near future. I would much prefer Deluxes for Dinoking & Monstructor as well to scale with the other modern combiners, but it will be a placeholder if anything for the future. Same with the MPG Raiden Trainbots. Yes they are super expensive, but I figure its the only way we'll ever get them for the foreseeable future. If viable Deluxe standar Generation ones are made however, I'll sell my MPG's in a heartbeat.

Bludgeon actually continues to look better in in-hand images, I am liking him more and more. Especially since the in-hand images of the Super7 one show it to be kind of a stinker.

I also am appreciating Strongarm more. I will need to decide which shelf she ends up on once I get her

I think the rumor is Target gets Moonstructor and Pulse gets Dinoking. The problem is the two sets are going to be just repainted, which means the molds are only going to be accurate to Dinoking's pretender shells and not the actual robots that combined.

To be fair, those inner robot altmodes for the Dinoforce never actually appeared in anything. They always went directly from robot mode to dinosaur pretender shell and back.

I hear you on that. Here in southern Missouri you can still find wave 1 deluxes on the pegs. To me finding the Toxitron line at a Walmart 3 hours away was like striking gold. That was only by luck coming back home from a trip. Otherwise there hasn’t been much out.

I'm good with that. The pretender gimmick always seemed pointless to me.

That would also mean that the individual Pretender Monster bots won't resemble anything, though the combined Monstructor form won't be too far off.
