That would be tricky since it would either require another GB head in the mold or running the whole mold again just for the head (maybe if they had used the mold for someone else so they could lift the head from there). And even if they did do a second head the arms and legs wouldn't be right. Better to hope a Marvel version later.

When will it be available for pre-order? The minions haven't seen anything on Target's website yet, and presumably it's the only place you COULD order it...

two heads might get people to go double on Kickback for a clone/non clone version. I really didnt like the Cyberpunk T pose on him but Ransacks colors somehow offset it.

I did think about that, but I can't be buying super multiples just to differentiate a head. At least not this year.

I will say after the full reveal, it is nice Hasbro is giving fans more options, and this Buzzworthy set is a bit more unified than last year's, and quite a bit more desirable. I myself won't be getting it, but I definitely see the appeal. Best hopes to all fans out there who want this, can obtain it.

I'm excited about getting alternate heads. Its about time that happened with Transformers! I like this much better than buying multiple variants.

It's a perfect homage to the Robot/Mutant heads of old Beast Wars figures, plus with Skywasp you're getting two characters for the price of one: the Mutant Head makes the Waruder Parasite Drone, while the Robot Head makes the actual Skywasp, making a plan that originally had fallen through a reality.

A third character use for this figure would be Waspinator himself, as the deco was originally planned for the Transmetal mold in a canceled "Halloween Horrorcon" two-pack from Universe 2003, a two-pack that this figure completes updates of with Legacy Nightprowler. ;)

Is it just me or does Goldbug in vehicle mode look a little different than the Walmart release?

I only see the paint job difference...? And the symbol on the chest.

Sculpt looks the same to me, but the shiny color makes the details pop a lot more. The one in the second set of images has reprolabels, mind you.

I don't recall Target ever taking pre-orders on Buzzworthy figures, they don't even stock all of them on the site.

Pulse put up preorders for Buzzworthy Kup, CJ, & B-127, then Silverstreak later, but nothing got preorders on Target, and the Pulse orders were unexpected & unprecedented when they happened.

Target did eventually put all the bumblebee releases on their site, just not for pre-order, and some of them never really came in stock other than blink and you missed it. I did find some of them in stores before they were on Target's site, especially in the very beginning.

I do not believe that Cliffjumper showed up in any way shape or form on the website.

He's there, on the site, but I'm not sure if he was ever in stock. Their filters are clunky as hell.

JTPrime17 and Voltrace found another Buzzworthy/Legacy listing. Problem is, it doesn't say what character it is, but it has a different/new DCPI number so it can't just be Silverstreak or Terrorsaur again.

You're absolutely correct, I have the figure saved in my favorites. I should've said I never saw it or Kup come in-stock.

I've never seen Kup or Cliff in store nor available online, Bee I had to get in store to make sure I got him but he did eventually become available on their site for ordering. Silverstreak is currently available.

Yet not ever spotting the other multipacks in store I do question whether I'll be able to find Goldbug because it's not like you can use the store locator or pickup function for these sets and I'm too far away to pop in on a daily/weekly basis particularly now with current gas prices.

So Many new Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee Sightings at Target

PostPosted: Tue Jul 12, 2022 7:42 am

It practically came all at once, Targets updated their Buzzworthy Bumblebee selection on shelves with many new offerings. The Creatures Collide multipack was found first (for $73.99) soon followed by toy deco Beast Wars Dinobot and toy deco Terrorsaur. All are in solid case packs, meaning there is no other/different toy in the cases they come in. And for those worried about theivery with the closed box set, there are holes at the top that let you peer in to see if there is something missing.

Below are images of the multiple sightings coming from TF fans ahchu, Slingshot and Hye6640 who posted their findings on the TFW2005 message baords. California has been the main place for sightings but they have been found elsewhere as well, like Ohio. These being Target exclusives means that Target is getting almost all the stock destined for US fans, so these are bound to show up at your local Targets.

Bah - the Creatures Collide set still isn't showing up on the Target website database. Until then I can't get the UPC number for looking it up. Which means that you can't call Target up to have them confirm if they've got it or not. The dead-head clerks who work in these stores are utterly clueless without those numbers, it's like talking to a brick wall. 'T... oys? Uh... I don't know if we sell these "t... oys" of which you speak. Let me get ahold of my manager....'
