AOE Strafe Evolution 26/30?

I picked up one of these today at my local TRU and it's pretty sweet. I'm impressed with all of the deluxe Dinobots I've seen so far. The back of the box has (26 of 30). What does that represent?

Thanks in advance.

I'm going to go ahead and wager a guess that AOE Strafe Evolution pack is considered one of the Thrilling 30 - 30 special release by Hasbro for the 30th anniversary of Transformers. This would put Strafe at #26.

What's strange to me about this, is that we haven't heard a whole lot about the ones after 13 or so, and suddenly we are up to 26?? I don't get it.

TFwiki has more info.

With 24 as Grimlock, 25 as Slag and 26 as Swoop, it's a pretty safe guess that 27 and 28 will be the Prime and Bumblebee 2-packs. 29... I'm not sure. As for filling up the rest of the list, I counted all Platinum and Masterpiece releases and came to 19, leaving a gap between 20 and 23.

That's really lame. Good to see they really thought out this Thrilling 30 sham.

Let me count that Kre-O Grimlock Unleashed set as #29

And I wouldn't call it a sham as much it's misplaced expectations. We knew from the very beginning it wasn't going to be limited to G1 (Platinum Ultra Magnus and both Shockwave's Laboratory releases have proven that), and basically any exclusive release, especially one tying any franchise with G1, is fair game. Be it Platinum, Masterpiece, or just store exclusives.

I do find some releases cheap shot, like Construct-Bots Predaking and the Metroplex and Shockwave's Lab re-releases.

Well, you call it what you like, and I'll call it what I like. I'm not speaking for anyone other than myself, nor do I expect anyone to agree with me, but I feel this Thrilling 30 thing is a total joke. I know it's not supposed to just be a G1 or any one iteration of the franchise thing; I think it's cheap and half-assed.
Again we've got the TF fan Stockholm syndrome going on: it's not that this is a weak effort from Hasbro, it's that as a fan, I somehow erred by 'expecting' too much.
Same with the G I Joe 50th anniversary, right? People just 'expected' too much.
Like two slightly different convention Metroplexes in the first ten Thrilling 30 releases didn't signal that this was going to be a lame deal.

Like I said, I agree to the cheap shots that are Metroplex and Shockwave's Lab. A couple more that we could have done without are:

#7 of 30: Beast Hunter Optimus Prime
Changing the packaging alone does not a special release make. Make a few simple changes to the figure itself, then we'll talk.

#11 of 30: Construct-Bots Predaking
Just what makes this so special, aside from it being a regular exclusive? Tell me Hasbro!

Another hit-and-miss in places from Hasbro, but what else is new? >:oP

Those releases are precisely what I'm talking about. In the case of the BH Prime, I'm totally with you...a few changes to the paint and poof! special release figure.
