Maybe someone in their infinite wisdom realized that $15 was too damn much for them..

That's a good deal, but I stopped looking for TFs at Walmart. Unless you're looking for shelfwarmers or figures from last year's line, you're likely to be disappointed after a trip to Walmart. It's not ALWAYS like that, but often is.

Later tonight I'll stop by several walmarts to make sure I get some. And yeah, $15 is way too much. At $10 these toys are no brainers

With the exception of Slash, every AoE Deluxe I've bought (and that's all of them except BB) has been worth every penny of $15.

Found them at my first Wal-Mart tonight. They were perfectly minty, until I dropped all of them by the check-out line. Doh! Turns out Generations are $10, too.

Thanks to your fellow Seibertronian It Is Him we can report that some Wal-Marts have marked down their Transformers Deluxe Class figures to $9.97. This includes the newly released Transformers: Age of Extinction figures. A great opportunity to try out the new line at a discount.

We all saw it coming, and I bet will drop more.

1. Poor molds
2. Poor apps/unacurate colors
3. Wrong size/scale, they don't fit any previous collection.

I guess that NYPost article about an impending price drop to counter slumping sales was accurate. I guess that's not such a big surprise, DotM had a very sharp price drop at Walmart, too.

Damn, I could of save 20 bucks instead of ordering from bbts. But who knew ? There have been generations waves that were scarce and not worth the gas and effort for hunting. F**k it, at least I have enjoyed them for over two months instead of being among the last people to enjoy them.

If my Walmarts actually kept up I would go hunting. But they dont unfortunately. This is effective online as well. Just checked.

Is there a price drop on Generations Legends, or will I have to pay Deluxe prices for a decidedly non-Deluxe figure?

Perhaps, some of the Generations are cheaper, not sure all those rollbacks have made it to the online side of the house yet. Voyager Springer is $16 online, thats 8 cheaper then when he came out a year ago now I think it was. Best way to check is visit your local store and see what they have.

The two stores near me here in Virginia Beach up to March all looked like they were still post Black Friday shopping. It has been a total mess so I dont even waste my time looking there.

I was just at the Wal-Mart closest to my house two nights ago. The only difference at the time was the Generations Deluxe class was going for $13.00 while the Movie Deluxe were $15.00. Going to have to go back and see if they have changed that since I am actually warming up to the 'Bee figure (it seems that not all of them are blatantly orange in color, they tend to be varying shades as the one I spotted two nights ago was lighter than the one I saw in TRU a few weeks back) and also Slug and I need to get Skywarp now that he is readily available in my area.

Don't trust the price tags if they aren't reflecting the new price either. My WM still had the tags reading $15, but they scanned at $10. (They were pretty emptied out by the time I got there, too...all I left with was a Crosshairs.)

We saw this coming because it literally happens after every big reset, it happened for the last two movies, and comes back around every fourth quarter as well.

Its more than typical.
