Moving sucks :)

We bought a new house yesterday on a lake so I am in packing mode now. Breaking down the man cave. As I have packed up my Transformers, MOTU Classics, TMNT Classics, Gundam's, and Lego stuff I realized a few things.

1. I have too much stuff.

2. I am guilty of forgetting what awesome figures I have acquired because things get lost in the shuffle and end up just sitting in a rubbermaid container somewhere.

So I have everything packed up except my AOE figures and 2 movie line deluxes, Buster Prime and Battle Blade Bee.

These guys need more love... should be wrapped up individually but I dont have enough bins for that yet. They will be back on the shelf in no time though. :)

My wife and I moved to a house 2 months ago in preparation of our first child. Never knew how much the pair of us acquired in only 1.5 years of marriage. Moving made me take a look at my collection piece by piece and honestly I really enjoy every figure I own. Thankfully you'll be done moving before you know it. Best of luck with everything!

Also, I def need to wrap my figures in storage ASAP.

Yeah we were both in the military for over 10 years. This is the first time we have been able to settle down now that we are both out. As I have packed I find my self playing with each figure I have collected, each one is a fun adventure in itself. Some of them as I toy with them I find I missed certain aspects the first time around. So we normally move every 2 years. I am happy that this will be the last time for a very long time.

Have to say Strafe and Hound are plain awesome worth ordering on Amazon instead of hunting for them. Got them today. Recommend to everyone. Put strafe up on an aerial stand and let him spread his wings to show his full prowess.

I dread moving house! I have no plans to do so for some years but as I acquire more TFs the longer I wait before moving the worse it will be.

Just look at it this way: how much fun is it going to be setting up your mancave in the new house?! :KREMZEEK:

So true Mykltron. Nothing like that one spot in the house that's all yours. Menace, I can't wait for Strafe and Hound. Picking these AOE figs up slowly as my kid is taking all of my money! : )

Yeah I love having a man cave, it was a requirement in the home shopping process. No man cave no purchase! Strafe and Hound are on Amazon with Prime free shipping. I just figured with all the stuff warming shelves, getting a hold of them in store was going to be hard for a while, so I settled on ordering them.

I'm thinking Amazon will be the way to go, much appreciated. Waiting for enough funds to be gathered and I'll be all set!

Yeah I waited because we are moving so I didnt want to risk ordering them from HasbroToyShop or anyone else that had delayed shipping, and then run the risk of them going to my old address. So when they popped on Amazon with 2 day shipping and same as store price I jumped on it. Could get them before they got bought out and marked up, along with them being here before I move all my stuff out of the old address by the end of this weekend, next Saturday.

Good luck with the move!

I live in a small studio with my wife. Most of my stuff is stored - literally 2/3 of our closet space is dedicated to toys (thank goodness my wife isn't a material girl). I can't wait to buy house and set up a proper Man Cave. No kids allowed! ;)

I've been dreading the move for a long time. I know it's going to happen eventually and it's going to suck. =/

Also last time I took all my Junkions in my bag like two bike handles broke off =/

Those bike handles are delicate in my experience as well. I would try placing them in a shoe box with lots of tissue paper.

Having moved my toys 5 times since I started buying this crap, yeah, I can relate. When I pay for movers, I'm too paranoid to let them touch my toys. The only time I did, I watched them toss those boxes around pretty liberally. Huge mistake on my part to trust them.

Don't use paper, use (clean) underwear and socks.

Good luck on the move! We moved about a year ago and the toy packing was a mess. However, it is nice to have room to have everything out!
