Ready to spend 3,000,000 yen (a little less than $30,000) for a giant 6 feet tall Generation 1 Optimus Prime statue? Takara Tomy has just the thing for you. The Takara Tomy mall recently updated their site with new images and info for everyone interested in this awesome beast for their man cave. Made of fiber reinforced plastics, steel core, and sheet steel it is schedule to be release late December 2014.

What kind of crack are they smoking up there ???

I'm seeing between $5,000 and $7,000 worth of statue, but not more. For $30,000, that girl in the picture better come with it.... =P~

It that thing is 6' tall then at 6'5" I wouldn't be able to stand upright in that room. I think the estimate is off.

The site says it's around 2 metres, making it closer to 6'5".

I'll pay $30,000 for an Optimus Prime that's 20 feet tall and it could speak, walk, and think on its own. And actually transform into a truck.

Someone needs to take one of these,

upscale it to the size of a real truck, replace the cheap motor with an actual engine, then add windows, doors, seats, and a dashboard. Oh, and it needs to have lights and sounds.
