It's been with me nearly 10 years. You wouldn't like to go through the I hell I went through just to get him on Christmas eve in a Christmas Rush traffic condition cramped as sardines Mall specialty shop.

Recently, similar to the "Cosmic Rust" (which can be easily remedied with Johnson and Johnson GLO) of MP-05 Megatron, MP-01 is not fairing well.Despite handling mine with care, the paint on sharp corners tend to chip..........alright..........accepted reality.

Megatron accessory stock part breaks off ( fix with cyanoacrylate) and his d@mn energon axe is icky sticky (remedied with Armor All).

Been keeping him in the box and occasionally puts him out to air him when.......well WTF?!

His entire die-cast part body that's been painted (torso and lower legs) has lost the smoothness, glossy quality (the shins are still slightly glossy) and is now similar to a very fine sand paper...........thousands of tiny prickly whatchamacalit blisters(?)

Has this issue ever cropped up among owners of MP-01? Country is located just above the equator though storage of the figure is in an A/C room %#@*^%!

Haven't noticed anything like that on mine, just mine is hella dusty. I have the Takara version, though, dunno if that makes a difference.

Also haven't had any problems of that sort. Guess I am just lucky in that regard.
