Will they release any, I mean if they do what will be the difference.

Unless they change something in the movie the toys will end up being similar to Transformers 1, of course though there will be new Transformers in the movie.

But the Transformers that were in Transformers 1, when Transformers 2 comes out how will they make the toys more different?

Well im happy coz i only buy decepticons and very rarly a cool looking autobot (cybertron defense scattorshot ) ....but who knows...maybe combiners, minicons, Re-formatting, but as u say there will also be new ones

Whether it is from injuries sustained from Decepticon Attacks, or because their alt modes are compromised when found out by the media, just for fun, because they need different alt modes (for sea/air travel etc) or some other reason, they will adapt.

Characters like prime however will more than likely stay the same (or close to it), in which case, new toys with different Transformations/altered paint schemes can be sold.

I wouldnt be too concerned, all the new Decepticons and Autobots who will be introduced in #2 will be the main focus of the toy lines anyway. And besides Hasbro is more than adept at re-releasing the same toys over and over again.

Yer I thought so. One of the ideas was them making a toy that has been damaged by a Decepticon... I was thinking of that.

I am actually hoping that Prime in the next movie will have a trailer that does something other that disappear. Maybe something like Powermaster Prime.

Bumblebee could finally be released with his battle mask.

Plus there have been rumors that they are thinking about adding the Dinobots, Constructicons, and Soundwave. So that is a good 8 - 10 new figs right there.

I really hope that they continue this movie line with some more of the characters from video game. Especially Shockwave, who is a triple-changer, and that one Decepticon that transforms into a cement truck.

I'm sure Prime at least will have some kind of Super-Mode. That'd solve that problem.

How badass would a Leobreaker style super mode be?

Beastformers in TF2!

Different gimmicks on Prime, Ratchet, BB, and Ironhide. Maybe a different color on one or two of them. The new characters will be the new stuff. Hopefully a LOT of new cool characters.

CGI Galaxy Convoy!!!

Just kidding.

I would get the new autobots, perhaps the upgraded ones, and the new line of toys.
