Yes. I have. In the right thread. This is the toy-only thread.

And that's not Unicron.

Not Unicron as in it's a copy based on BW Neo Unicron, made from an asteroid like Remora from Shadow Raiders. And those PCC characters are upgraded Micromasters from United EX (tho not called out as such).

Indeed. Those are the Micomaster Sky Patrol Team members in their Master Class bodies from the United EX line, which were redecos of the Power Core Combiner toys. Read the actual summaries and see the full comic images in the post of that manga thread itself before jumping to conclusions. This is the toy topic. The manga talk was given its own thread for a reason (as in, so that the people who wanted to see just the toys and not the manga could have the manga stuff not in this thread).

From Dai Atlas's pack-in manga, here is the combined form of all five Powered Masters (and the Diaclone Big Powered toy, but that's not important now).

Presenting... Ultra Powered!

I'm sure somebody has already submitted the in hand images for big powered, so all I'll say is that while Dai Atlas' legs are thin and hollow, the blue background makes them look worse. On the plus side it looks like Dia Atlas is all one piece.

Really looking forward to the big powered set. Got the God Ginrai combo pack (finally) to hold me over.

BTW, I thought of this the other day, might Micron Convoy actually be Star Convoy's inner robot? They were revealed together and as far as I know we haven't seen anything since on either.

I was trying to think of what the inner robot would look like but I remember the vehicle mode being a long-nosed truck, just like Micron Convoy.

Also I guess this unification means Takara's version of Galaxy-mode Optimus will be the same, with the Optimus repaint of Magnus' inner bot with a new chest, which in turn was a retool of Voyager class Optimus.

It's not. Further pics of the new Star Convoy showed it's back to have just a standard G1-based Optimus for its inner robot.

It sounds more of a good way to show that Optimus Prime was resurrected into his Star Convoy body. Plus an inspection of Micron Convoy revealed fists in his legs which can only mean one thing...Micron Convoy Super Mode (or that they'll make Jetfire next... Or both)

Actually, the Siege Magnus inner bot is an entirely separate mold with entirely different engineering from Voyager Optimus.

More on topic, Star Convoy's inner robot appears to be specifically based on the original G1 toy of Optimus, with the head having details only the original toy had.

Some parts like the head and hands come directly from Voyager optimus, and the sculpting is identical. It's a heavy retool but shares too many designs for me personally to consider it new.

As far as star convoy having OG convoy inside, it's really silly to me because he will be the fourth minor variation of this design in this line alone. G1 optimus is my favorite character and I am honestly getting sick of him.

Doesn't help that the combined mode also looks just like OG convoy because it's a retool of potp optimus who was g1. It will literally be convoy transforming into a slight variation of himself. And this is along with G1 optimus turning into galaxy convoy. The only upside I can see is that the final figure may at least look better than potp optimus originally did, since a screen accurate Orion pax does not easily become a cab over engine semi.

Nuh uh. Siege Ultra Magnus's inner robot head is unique to Siege Voyager Optimus's head. The two molds share zero parts.

Star Convoy is not coming in the Siege line. It's either coming in the Legends line or in some all new line. It's a TakaraTomy-initiated figure made without Hasbro's input, completely unrelated to Siege.

For the sake of benefit of the doubt, I'm going over a review that compares the two. But no, they're not the same. They may look similar (only part that really does is the head, but the halves have a different attachment method), but that doesn't make them the same parts, especially when it comes to part reuse and retools.

But that's for a different thread ;)

Anyone else feel bummed about having only TR Topspin, especially with that Ultra Powered combo?

Does the upcoming Big Powered team follow the traditional Japanese Headmaster theory, ie. Dai Atlas is now the head and the main robot body a lifeless husk?

Yes, I believe so as Vionjeiger (I have not spelt that right at all) took over the old bodies so the old heads became head masters with new bodies built specifically for them.

Yes, Japan doesn't do the whole "separate partner" thing, except for:

- Great Shot, paired with a reborn Jack
- The Monsterbots, paired with Beastformers (Battle Beasts).

So Speeder, Sonic (no, not that one, Amy!) and Drillbuster have any chance of appearing as Siege Micromaster redecos.

Ugh, the struggle is real! Big Powered arrived for me at BBTS, but I have it in my pile of loot waiting for Selects Ricochet to finally show up. I know I should be smart and save the extra $4 by shipping them together, but, I WANT MY PLASTIC CRACK NOW!!!!

I'm going to be patient.

For now.
