I have only gotten Vector Prime so far. I am thinking of Metroplex, Exxellion, Ovverride GTS, and Quickmix. What do you guys think?

EEEWWWW Autobots.
No really I like Primus, he's great
Lights, sounds, he's big and he's Cybertron
for crying out loud. I think I shoulda picked up
Cybertron Defense Red Alert but didn't.
Hopefully they still have him in the clearance isle
when I visit a certain Walmart in a week.

Well to be honest I don't have any Cyberton figures at all! But yes, Discharge is right, Primus is really good from what I have heard from many people.

To be honest I don't feel much attraction to Primus. I was attracted to Vector Prime and Hot Rod, but for some reason I don't like Primus's colouring scheme.
Speaking of colouring scheme, do you guys happen to get some figures that might have smudges on them, or colours that were obviously mistakes during the figure production? I hope I'm not the only one with this complaint. You know, just small things like smudges or small dents of black on gold (I am referring specifically to Vector here).
Basically I want Transformers from the Cybertron series that will go well with the Transformers toys from the movie...

Out of the ones you listed, I have Excellion, Override GTS, and Metroplex.
Definitely get Excellion, one of my faves. Some other good ones if you can locate them:
Brakedown, either regular or GTS version
Evac
Landmine
CD Red Alert
CD Hot Shot
CD Scattorshot
Optimus Prime

Primus is one of the most amazing Transformer figures ever created. He's on sale now at Hasbrotoyshop.com for cheap I think (a little over 20$) - any TF fan needs to have Primus in their collection. The sculpting job and detailing is like nothing I've ever seen before, he's not a toy, he's a work of art.
Aside from him, I recommend Armorhide, the small tow-truck - he rules.
Also, think about getting Evac, he's easily the best helicopter Transformer ever made.

Speaking of the color scheme, I always wondered why they didn't make a Golden Age of Cybertron repaint. Something with gold chrome, kinda like a lucky draw but produced for the masses. I know the gold chrome doesn't have the best record,
but I don't have any problems with the gold on my Sky Lynx.

Not too many of the Cybertron figs are going to fit in well with the movie ones. The movies figs have an obviously more realistic look to them when compared to the toon-inspired Cybertron ones. The two that would best fit in with the movie figs, outside of some of the Target exclusive basics, are Smokescreen and Downshift.
Also, think about getting Evac, he's easily the best helicopter Transformer ever made.
I second that. Blackout who?

Cybertron Defense Hot Shot, definitely. to me, its like a better version of Movie Wreckage (though i've grown attached to movie wreckage, too.) the two actually look pretty awesome standing next to each other.
aside from that, I'd suggest any that resemble *real* vehicles, as none of them really fit in with the designs of the movie in bot mode (except, maybe for Menasor, with his wierd face.) I'd also suggest Lugnutz or the red autobot repaint of that mold (whose name is eluding me at the moment.) Jetfire or Skyshadow, maybe (for the alt mode, primarily)
Finally, Cybertron Leader-class Optimus Prime (and the galaxy force repaint) is excellent, one of the best versions of Optimus that is based off of recent cartoons, and especially if you get your hands on a Wingsaber to go with him... but the look is VERY different from the movie version, and instead, very much anime inspired.
things to stay away from: i'm not a fan of the mold for the cybertron versions of Megatron or Galvatron (why haven't they been able to make a good Megatron toy in years, classics version notwithstanding?) and also, stay FAR FAR FAR away from Thundercracker (and the skywarp repaint). i wanted to like that mold, but the arms don't hook into anything at all.

Primus is a must he is just an awesome figure. But if you want something smaller, CD Scattorshot, is really good as is CD Hot Shot.
Excellion just because his color scheme is better than Hot Shot's. (total Hot Rod homage)
Metroplex is a great Figure, but don't expect much of an alt mode.
From the Basic price point: Breakdown is nice, Clocker/Swerve repaint, if you want Hot Rod homages.
Crosswise/Smokescreen and Red Alert are also nice Autobot moulds
Stay away form Override or Override GTS. the Spring loaded transformation is just awful. Its really hard to keep his nose in place, in mine its always trying to engage the auto transformation. His robot mode isn't any thing special, so avoid him unless you really like the vehicle mode.
Optimus Prime (Armada Bendy Prime Repaint) is a great figure,
as is the Cybertron Optimus Primal repaint of the 10th Anniversary Beaswars release. If you don't have the mould, get him.

Okay, I'll list a few from each size class:
Supreme: Primus
Leader: Optimus Prime
Mega: Wing Sabre (only if you get Optimus), Jetfire
Voyager: Evac, Vector Prime, Quickmix
Deluxe: Red Alert, CD Hotshot, Downshift, Excillion, Snarl, Landmine
Basic: Scattorshot, Armourhide, Swerve, Repugnus, Breakdown
Really though, most of them are from earlier waves, and can be very hard to find. Avoid the Override and Crosswise moulds, and I would also steer clear of Lugnutz and Overhaul.
Goodluck with the hunting.

Okay, I will go for CD Hotshot and Excellion then. I'm a bit disappointed Override is so crap. Her vehicle mode looked pretty good.

I know. I was thinking of getting that one, but now, I'll pass.
I got Excellion last week, and I have to tell you, he RULES!!!

I also got Armorhide, and diespite his small size, he's actually very cool. I like the little guy, and his 8 little friends hiding behind the grille.

That's a cool feature.
I bought Primus on HTS, and I have to say, he looks impressive. His color scheme is kind of "meh" to to me, but he is really cool lookin'.
I don't know about you, but there seems to be more cool Autobots than Decepticons. I'd be more pressed to ask which ones to get for them than the Autobots.

Yeah the colour scheme is really important to me so I don't think I will get Primus. Mind you all the futuristic racer car Autobots look sweeeet.
I was interested in getting Galvatron... his vehicle mode looks freakin great...

Unless they've reused the name that's not from Cybertron. The one I'm thinking of is the Micron Legend TRU Japan set of Final Battle Convoy (in nicer colours than the Western release), clear version Magnus and Street Action Team in G1 Perceptor homage colours, limited to 1000. I managed to get quite a good deal on mine and love them to bits, but I actually like the Armada Prime combos more than most.

You really like making things hard for yourself dont you?
Galvatron was/is possibly one of the hardest toys to find, along with Evac, and Menasor, You only saw a few of each, and then they were gone, never to be seen, (or restocked) again.

I'm surprised because some toys that are hard to find pop up in random places, like the Toyworld in the CBD, but there's like no movie deluxes there; it's as if the rarity has been reversed.
But you're right, I haven't seen Galvatron.

The figure has a few problems, but I love Wing Saber. It's actually preferable to get the Japanese version, just because of the chrome swords. Like I said, there are some problems(he's got cannon hands, though one can be pulled back to kinda sorta look like normal hands). If you get a Cybertron Prime, so much the better(and Cybertron Prime is absolutely worth getting).
Jetfire wouldn't look too bad next to the movie toys, if the color scheme works for you.
And Galvatron may be hard to find, but he is SO worth getting. If you do eventually look into getting some 'Con opposition, Soundwave is a must. Probably one of my favorite Transformers ever.
And I love the Clocker mold. The Swerve redeco is a nice one.

The race cars are really cool. I keep my Excellion with my Classics line though.
Galvatron looks GREAT! Even Megatron does despite the orange, purple and gray combo. But those prices on ebay...ugh...
