TFW2005 member "therupert" has reported finding some of the Robot Replica figures based on the characters from this summer's Transformers Movie, finding Bumblebee, Barricade and Megatron. This is the first reported sighting of these figures at retail, so expect them to be more widely available soon.

Apparently, these are available in Canada, too. Bumblebee, Barricade, and Megatron were found at a Walmart by one of the guys over at Cybertron.ca.

I'm going scouting tomorrow, maybe they'll turn up.

I just got Megatron. I saw Bumblebee & Barricade, but I couldn't afford them. Have yet to take Megs out of the packaging.

Saw them at a TRU in Australia last week. They do look better in person, but are far too expensive for what they are (AU$30).

Paint looks good on them, and their size is quite alright too.

I can't keep up! My wallet hurts! Seriously, I haven't gotten all of the Real Gear or the leader class figures yet. My greed is outpacing my income.

I just saw them at K-Mart today for $12 each. I'm sure I'll get them eventually.

These are hit or miss to me.

I may get some just for the weapons.

Personaly, with all the extra space on the transforming versions I can't see why Leader Prime doesn't have an arm blade, why Barricade has such huge arms but no spiked wheels, and Jazz's shield(yes I know the battle damaged version has the right version)is rectangle instead of round.

Otherwise, I think these are a pass. Then again, there is always clearance and Ebay come TF2...

I finally got a pic of all 3 of the ones I found together:

Image

Size wise, they are about 6 - 6 1/2" tall. Bigger than the revoltech's if my memory serves me right.

Price on these was $11.96 each @ Wal-Mart. I've heard they are $12.99 @ K-Mart but have not seen them there yet.

I'm actually really impressed with these. The pics I saw of them online didn't do them justice and I'm really looking forward to the next wave.

Out of the 3 I found, the Bumblebee is definately the best of the bunch. Barricade is also really nice but Megatron is lacking. Compared to the other 2, his paint just seems "blah". The one cool thing about him though is he comes with the Arm Mounted Fusion Cannon that looks just like it did in the movie. Very nice touch. In fact, all of the weapons that these come with look just like the weapons in the movie.

I really hope this line does well and hopefully we'll see a Ironhide, Ratchet, Starscream, Blackout, Bonecrusher and Devastator!

I actually really like the look of these. I mean, sure Non-Transforming Transformers are a little odd, I think I may be buying all of these.

Has anyone seen Optimus yet?

i'm glad to know some that have seen them in person say they are good to go. the online pics didn't look all that good, so up close is where i'm going to have to make my choice. either way i will be getting the optimus prime because he's the only movie figure thats gotten his sleek-ness down.
