I was thinking of getting Unleashed Megatron since my brother is getting Unleashed Optimus Prime when it comes out. Then I heard about Robot Replicas and I saw them and they look alright. But some people say that they are way better then Unleashed.

So here are my questions :

1. Not with just Megatron and Optimus Prime but with all figures of Unleashed and Robot Replicas which figures are better?
2. How big are Robot Replicas?

robot replicas are pretty small and lame, i wouldnt get one

i like the look of unleashed bb, but not so much the new ones. Dont really care for the replicas, ill stick with the deluxes and stuff.

So I should get the Unleashed line?

Well, I own both Unleashed and RR Bumblebee (I'm crazy, I know), so let's just make a quick comparison:

Unleashed has way better detail, although the RR is no slouch in this regard.

Unleashed has an awesome base and a box that's suitable for display purposes.

RR is posable, and you can even switch out the arm cannon.

Apparently, the arm cannon on the RR has the correct detail (arm guard), whereas Unleashed doesn't. I'd need to see the movie again to be sure of this.

RR is cheaper.

Ultimately, it comes down to whether or not you want poseability or detail more.

I don't know how the Megatrons compare, but I imagine it would be similar.

To the best of my knowledge, Barricade only gets an RR, whereas Prime only gets an Unleashed. You might want to bear this in mind if you're going for a matching set.

Edit: Scratch that last bit. It seems Prime is getting an RR, and some other characters are as well. That's what happens when I don't follow the news.

Im agreeing with Burn for about the third time straight... this can't be good.

The RR figures are about the same size as a Deluxe figure in terms of height, but have nowhere near as much bulk, are poseable, but not what I'd call articulated, and come with multiple arms/legs for variation. The painting was sloppy on the Barricades I saw, but not that bad on the others, and certainly better than in the pics that have been seen online.

You know all about unleashed as you already have Bumblebee, expect the same from the other figures.

Neither are worth the crazy prices being asked for them $30 for RR, and $50 for Unleashed.

Ok I am going to finish the Unleashed line, nintendofreak says that the RR is more pose able than Unleashed but Unleashed has more detail, and I care more about detail.
