Generations/Classic Triplechangers Prices

I recently moved to a new city and stumbled upon a stash of Generations triple changer voyager class toys (Springer. Sandstorm, Blitzwing and Doubledealer) at a store that clearly doesn't cater to the Transformers crowd much, each marked at 39.99CAD and I was wondering if that is a worthwhile price because I missed all of these toys when they were initially at retail.

Not for that price dude.

TRU Canada still has Doubledealer available for $30; http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp ... d=29225976

I'm pretty sure Sandstorm is still at your local Walmarts.

Springer is on clearance at BBTS; http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/prod ... ode=retail

Like yeah.. don't ever buy from scalper stores.

What Blurrz said.

Personally, I really dont like the Blitzwing mold. It's clunky with iffy vehicle modes and is not fun to transform. Still, some people do like him so there might be a certain quality to him.

Springer and Sandstorm BOTH are REALLY worth it. However, buying then for 40$tx a pop is absurd. Especially becasue you can buy Springer for less WITH shipping at BBTS.
Sandstorm, you can have it litterally EVERYWHERE. Still, at 35$ taxes included, might as well buy it from BBTS with Springer.

So, why not buy the Springer, Sandstorm, and Blitzwing 3 pack for only 65$ total (plus ship)

Add shipping to Canada and that ammount to roughly 85$ grand total. No taxes.
Normal retail would be way more expensive than that. As for your scalper store... LOL NOPE! Do yourself a favor, and buy from BBTS. They have a great service and they know how to securely pack their stuff.

Thanks guys! I was honestly thinking that those would be decent prices because I haven't been able to ever find any of these figures at retail. They would always have sold out before I got there. Quebec was the deadzone for almost all transformers related products. I also figured that online I would wind up with very high shipping costs, usually the case, but I haven't bought anything online in a long time so I guess that teaches me to not make assumptions.

Also, on an off-note, holy **** hell did they do a lot of reworking to the Springer mold to make Sandstorm. Honestly, I can hardly tell they were the same figure base. It looks like he's 80% remodeled.

How is Blitzwing's rotating head gimmick in this line? I love the gimmick in the Transformers: Animated version.

To see how blitzwing work, check out a video review on youtube. That's your best bet.

So, did you end up buying the 3 pack of tripple changer off BBTS?
Parce que ça vaut la peine en tabarnak!

Also, what do you think about TrU's "screw Quebec" policy?

I haven't ordered the 3-pack yet, but I will soon. Getting settled into a new job after moving, so finances have been a touch tight.

And, man, I have spent so many hours trying to find Transformers toys in Quebec and it's so damned hard. It's like we get the dregs of the supply.
