Okay in this case its actually the Japansesse Energon Ironhide version "Roadbuster Wild". I can see where im supposed to insert the batteries ... but how do i open the flap or what the heck it is?!

I only have the U.S. version, but I think there's a screw on the back of the light asembly that holds it closed, atleast that's how mine is. its actualy on the top of the light asembly. I pulled it off the shelf, and had a closer look.

Top of the light asembly, behind the 3rd light. that screw holds the cover in place.
