G1 Omega Supreme

Is it possible to get the medium yellow clips that slide on top of Omega's feet in rocket-base mode to fit in snugly? Mine are loose and jiggly. I feel like this may just be a flaw in his engineering.

Can you post a picture? I am assuming it the two long clips but need to make sure.

I figured out the large, long yellow clips can fasten to the side of Omega's feet after several months. I was very happy about that.

However, the medium yellow clip right on top of his feet are still loose and jiggly. They don't fasten in like the long yellow clips on the side.

I've been using the same AA batteries for G1 Omega Supreme for a while now.

He may be the most fuel-efficient toy ever made!

G1 Omega Supreme can push back, knock down any G1 Transformer out there, including Trypticon, Skylynx, Predaking, Devastator, all the gestalts, Metroplex, Fortress Maximus, and Scorpinok. He's the most powerful Transformers toy in the G1 universe.

Mate, you've already got another thread where you've talked about how awesome YOU think Omega Supreme is, do you really need another one?

No G1 Transformers toy can challenge the mighty G1 Omega Supreme. I'd love to see all the creative ways fans play with him.

He can beat the city-size transformers because he can evade their punches by zipping around in rocket mode, tiring them out, and ripping into them like Devastator did to Metroplex in Transformers The Movie.

He's like Muhammad Ali (ie. he can float like a butterfly and sting like a bee) with Iron Mike Tyson's punching power, and George Foreman's size.

He's got the heart. He's got the motion. When all hell's breaking loose he'll be right in the eye of the storm. He knows that when things get to tough, he's got the touch!

The person who drew that is obviously not a true G1 Omega Supreme fan. The clawed arm is the right arm. The plasma blaster is the left arm. I've seen 'people' do entire reviews on G1 Omega Supreme making the same mistake. I think I've seen the same error once in the IDW comics.

The G1 cartoon is canon. Please refer to the source material.

Now now, it's possible the artist drew it properly only to have it flipped by his editor for "aesthetic" reasons.

Can everyone take note, if you're going to report posts, please make sure it's for a reason that goes against the forum rules, not for your own personal opinion.

Getting tired of closing pointless reports against duragrip's posts that do NOT violate the forum rules.

Yo duragrip, since we're talking about OS (I own the Encore version and not the original)

Tomy added a face (sort of a half face anyway), so he wasn't a lazy re-issue. Did you know that like Skylynx, after the Tomy/Takara merger, both molds were actually designed by Tomy? Hence the re-issues were made possible.

I'd like to give some tips to you and other OS fans. Despite being awesome and all (just read DW defunct story line in glorious DonFig art) Never ever leave the batteries unattended. also, apply WD 40 on the electrode ports to protect from corrosion.

Occasionally though, his gears get stuck up and I have to shake him silly to "wake up".

The clips on the back of his feet are kind off loose, wish it was tighter (I wonder if the original had tighter clips?). Also, when I first opened him up, similar to Metroplex Generations, he's got lots of decals.

Placement of arms components don't bother me as either side still keeps him in awesome mode.

I think it's the duty of all members who own Omega Supreme to post pictures of him in various precarious situations.

That's the original Omega Supreme pre TF. Looks even more "mean" looking! And Burn is, to quote Beastly of Care Bears "Sooooooooooo bad!"

Any of his clips can do this with enough wear, it's very hit or miss. I'd recommend finding some form of clear coat (the stuff used on plastic model kits) and throwing a coat or two on to see if that helps give the part a bit more mass to grip the feet properly.

I appreciate the tip. I'm thinking it's a flaw in the design and those clips are just loose on most people's G1 Omega Supreme rocket base modes. I prefer him in his robot mode. I guess no toy is perfect.

Duragrip, I can't seem to make my toy Optimus Prime fit into Omega Supreme when he is in rocket mode, yet in the G1 cartoon he is able to do so with ease. Why is this so?

I like toys that have a motor in it. That's why G1 Omega Supreme is cool.
