To me, he rocks.

He kind of reminds me of Starconvoy. Btw, if this is for 2015, then that repaint of Motormaster for generation is technically not the Optimus for 2015 then?

Will they make a leader class version of him?

Motormaster Generations 2015 is a repaint/redeco of Generations Optimus Prime 2015.

This is tied into the RiD cartoon series. I'd be surprised if they make a whole ton of versions given what we know so far, which is presumably that he'll make cameos as a ghost helping Bumblebee learn the whole "Leadership" concept. Of course, everything's way off so who knows.

The Generations toy is probably a case of "Hey, we just made this new Motormaster mold, let's print extra money by remolding it into an Optimus Prime toy."

Nah but really, looks like a fun little Cyberverse toy but it isn't blowing my mind or anything. Interested to see how well it translates over to any potential animation models.

Motormaster is a repaint? Then the Optimus Prime mode was supposed to be a combiner too?



As for liking him...........if he is given the Leader class plus details, maybe I'll like him. I don't like my Optimus' weenie size he deserves the big kahuna treatment!

We don't know which came first, Prime or Motorbreath, but it's likely there were designed at the same time, the same way pretools are like Megatron and Dreadwing, or Springer and Sandstorm. So yes, Optimus can combine with any limb, tho he has no sub-group of his own.

We have yet to hear about any classes larger than Warrior/Deluxe. For all we know that's all we'll get.

I can dig this look for OP. I wonder if Prime's involvement with mentoring Bee will taper after the show progresses. Frankly I'm hoping for more Dinobots.

As for that RID OP design, I can't say that I like the way it's translating into toy form so far, in either the Legion or Deluxe class. The design itself as seen in the cartoon isn't bad. Perhaps if they do a Leader or Voyager class it might look better to me.
