Another great review Will. RID Scorponok was always a BoS, but now the real question is; purple or brown scorpion?

Probably purple for anyone who wants to build up their purple Con army. He probably would look good with some Titans Return Cons.

william-james88 wrote:But all the other scorpies were of a larger class size that came with gimicks. None were ever deluxes, aside from the movie toy. And this is the best transformation so far. Are you bored by the ton of similar Optimus transformations where his arms are in the front, his head flips out of the top of the cab and his legs make the back of the cab? I fail to see how one is less interesting than the other. At least we have less Scorpions than Optimuses.

Nothing stopping a Deluxe from having a gimmick. Or at least an interesting aesthetic. Movie Scorpy has all sorts of cool little jet engine details, RiD Scorpy is... purple. He's got the best engineering, sure, but he's still a scorpion that turns into a scorpion on legs (on two legs.. human legs... whatever). Scorponoks have always been kinda forgettable because of that.

And I only have two Optimuses (both from DotM), so yes.

Glad you enjoy it, though. And seemingly everyone else enjoys him, too.

When does Paralon actually drop in TRU stores in the US? It doesn't show up in TRU website search yet.

And for that matter, is there an ETA yet for the actual RiD Scorponok as seen at SDCC?

Dunno, whenever their stock clears enough to warrant getting a re-stock at such a time that coincides with the warehouses having the new exclusives in. Considering mine is still waist deep in the original 'clash' figures from last year, my chances aren't looking so great :BANG_HEAD:

There is no release date for Paralon in the US, it will come when it comes.

The ETA for RID Scoropnok is from 1-2 months (maybe even earlier, but not later). It was already been released elswhere : http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... ail/35657/

During this big week of reveals at SDCC, we do have some fun news for new toys found at retail. Fellow Podcast star Scotty P has found the latest Mincon 4 pack at retail. This 4-pack includes: Dragonus, Bashbreaker, Lancelon, and Lord Doomitron. The individual weapon minicons have only been found in the UK so far and this 4 pack was only available online so this is the first taste of the weapon Minicons for the Americans who wait to find these toys at retail. These were found at a Target in Cary, NC for $16.99 Let us know if ever you come across the individual weapons!

Unless there's a wide release version whose deco is similar but less accurate.

Thanks to fellow Seibertronian Scottyp, we have confirmation that wave 8 of the Transformers: Robots in Disguise legion class has hit US retail, more specifically, in Raleigh, NC! The figures Scott spotted were as follows: Ratchet (in new packaging), Blizzard mode Drift, and Groundbuster (not pictured). Check out the image Scotty has provided down below, and check out Seibertron's galleries of the other RID Legion figures.

I found single carded Back and Ransack yesterday. There's a problem, though, I found Back at TJ Maxx and Ransack at Marshalls, they're already at close out! Nuts! I blame Ghostbusters :-P ! Really, though, i wonder what happened. I am glad someone found the 4 pack at Target.

Hello Seibertronians! We've got another Robots in Disguise sighting for you today, this time of the 5th wave of deploy-able Minicons! Coming from user Counterpunch, just after ScottP sighted some RID legion figures a few days ago. These little figures, consisting of Ransack, Glacius, and Scortch-strike Jetstorm, were all found in Metaire, Louisiana at Marshall's for $6.99! Take a look at the image Counterpuch provided below, and then check out Seibertron's galleries of the rest of the RID minicons here!

Wait, there was a wave three in stores? I never seen anything other than one and two. That was only just a week or two ago as well. I've seen the four packs though but not any of the singles. I'd rather they just keep releasing them in singles though as I actually like the translucent armor and weapons and the four packs only have those for two of them.
