Its absolutely brilliant.

With Bisque being a smooth, creamy, highly seasoned soup of French origin, classically based on a strained broth of lobster, Thermidor is a French dish consisting of a creamy mixture of cooked lobster meat, egg yolks, and brandy, stuffed into a lobster shell. =P~

Yes, Will, I Know what Lobster Thermidor is, thank you. It's still a groan worthy pun.

Well I didnt know until this character came out. And now thats all I want to eat.

Funny though how lobster used to be seen as a terrible thing to eat, so much so that prisons were not allowed to feed them to prisoners more than twice a week since it was deemed too cruel.

That I didn't know. Interesting, thank you.
Lobster can do that to you, I heard of lobster rolls around a year ago (Mmmm, Lobster shreds with a fresh slaw on a warm roll) and since then it has been my life's quest to find a good one. Being in literally the center of the country, however, has made that hard.

BACK ON TOPIC (Why do I always pull people off topic about food?)
Bludgeon looks cool. Twinferno looks cool. LOVE the flame accessories. Those look amazing.

Yup, geting all three, no question. I really love this line for its inventive designs.

If you take the dragon heads off of Twinferno's alt mode it looks a great deal like Samus Aran's ship.

More fun Thermidor facts: Thermidor is a blue lobster, which is a real thing. These are estimated to be found once out of about 2 million lobsters. (And I look afterwards and of course the wiki dudes already noted this.)

Fine then, more trivia. Thermidor is the name of the 11th month in the French Republican Calendar. Most of the RiD episodes where Thermidor appeared premiered in November, the 11th month on our calendar. Also, the word has "come to mean a retreat from more radical goals and strategies during a revolution, especially when caused by a replacement of leading personalities" says Wikipedia. This is applicable to Thermidor since Clawtrap stole his ship, and since Starscream punted the Scavengers aside in Season 3 as the main villain.

Finally, Thermidor is first seen in a cold environment, which could possibly be a reference to appliance company Thermador who have a high reputation for their commercial use refrigerators.

Basically, Thermidor is the best name.

I'd like to see what Twin-ferno looks like with the Dragon head folded under the wings (by his sides) and perhaps with the flame still in the mouths.

It would then look more like a regular jet Mode I think.

I hope the presence of Movie toys in the UK doesn't prevent these coming out.

Do we have confirmation of the rest of the Warrior wave yet as I heard a rumour that Ratchet & Bisk Repacks might be in the same wave - and we never got them in the UK.

That was still season 2 (or "Season 2.5", as that mini-series is also called). We're in season 3 now.

God dang it. Now you've all made me want bisque. (The soup, not the toy. Although the toy would be nice, too.)

Twinferno looks pretty good for an RID fig Paint apps are on par and I like his Robot mode design although he shares the same flaw of TR Twinferno being not having actual hands Dragon heads and his alt mode looks kinda dumb I mean a Bomber with dragon heads? That only makes sense as like a kinda chinese new year thing. I appreciate that the heads in Bot mode can use the weapons for a Flamethrower effect and they're used cleverly in the Bomber mode but a lack of a 5mm peg means you unfortunately can't use them as swords :( .

Thermidor is easily the best out of the three Bisk looks cool in both modes but this is just Spectacular :D The blue really looks Badass here and both modes look better because of it. The new headsculpt looks Show accurate (I don't know for sure cause I havn't seen those eps or seen any screenshots with him in them) The guns do look a little out of place though :BANG_HEAD:

Video Review for Transformers: Robots in Disguise Combiner Force One-Step Strongarm & Heatseeker

Our fellow Seibertronian chuckdawg1999 has brought us today another video review, and this time it's Transformers: Robots in Disguise Combiner Force One-Step Strongarm and Heatseeker! You can checkout his thoughts below too, and some comparisons in the video itself.

Strongarm and Heatseeker are new additions to the RID One Step line. Strongarm features a new transformation and is color matched to the Ultra Bee combiner figure. Heatseeker is the more interesting of the two since it's a new character with a slick vehicle mode. Both are good additions to your collections.

Not really, having the elbows bending on the good direciton mades him less flawed than TR one.

Hey guys, been a while.
I haven't seen anyone post a sighting of these guys, prolly just missed it..
Anyway, I picked up the Dragstrip set in the Park City Walmart north of Chicago.
I actually think they look alright for being so simple.

Aside from the minicons, this is the only thing I've bought from this line..

Want to rep your favorite robots this upcoming school year? Well, Toys R Us has you covered there, too, because a good deal on TLK toys was not all that catalog had to offer. No, in addition, we also got a look at two new pieces of Transformers merchandise: A Backpack featuring artwork from Transformers Robots in Disguise, plus a new silver Autobot symbol lunch bag to go with it! Rock these threads and then rock the forums threads down below by letting us know if you see these at TRU or anywhere else in the coming weeks, and definitely tell us if you plan to be the coolest kid in school and pick these up.

It is Amazon itself selling the toy (not a marketplace seller) for $29.99 and eligible for Prime shipping.
If you are interested in seeing more of this toy before purchasing him, check out the review we posted.

Our very own xRotorstormx found those Transformers Robots in Disguise backpacks and lunchbags that were just spotted in the new Toys R Us serial (plus a couple new ones) at a Michigan TRU! Along with the RID pack and the silver Autobot symbol lunch bag, she also found bags with artwork similar to standard Generations designs, plus an Autobot logo backpack!
