Wait until he appears as a Bludgeon look-a-like in the cartoon, then we'll talk ;)

I find that highly doubtful. The whole point of him reusing a model is to save money since model creation is the most expensive part of the cartoon process (ever since computers got involved). So them making a new model, based on his toy's looks is very doubtful especially since we were told we wouldnt see Bludgeon in the show (and thus not have his model available for reuse).

I think them colouring his chest to look a bit like a skull in the cartoon is the only sconsolation we will get.

The chest isn't merely recolored, though. It's a whole new chestplate redesigned from the one Megatronus had:

The head and Autobot badge belt buckle are new as well.

So then its a mix between what we see in the toy and the Megatronus model. But that means that they wont be redoing him to look more like his toy, since some toy aspects are already there. Basically, if ayone expects him to look more like his toy than he toys now, prepare for dissapointment.

I thought it was fine; made him more intimidating and played into the whole we-think-he's-a-bad-guy thing they had going on. And I wasn't thinking of Megatronus at all -- maybe because RiD Megatronus sucks, but hey, I still recognised Blastwave as his own dude.

Besides, as they are, the toy has more detail than the cartoon model. Don't a number of people on here prefer the real-life three-dimensional product to look better detailed than what's seen in the "more simplistic" two-dimensional cartoon?

I actually like how Twinferno looks. the colors, the look, it works for me. But I am a bit easier to please.

Bludgeon is still a must, still need to get to his wave to buy him.

I am also wondering about a lack of new figures, but I'm sure SDCC will have something

I wouldn't wait on Menasor. I never see the two in stock at the same time and they tend to go quickly.

But they are also not even scheduled to be heading out en masse till next month. I am not concerned about the new stuff being out yet, just more concerned about the lack of wave 4 stuff for TR. RiD is the most up to date line here. Besides, I'm sure they'll be around in stores for a bit once they show up

Yeah Dalton, I wouldnt worry. These are toys that are gonna stick around targets and Walmarts for a while. These are the toys hasbro put everything into for this line so its sure they made enough to kill a horse.

I'm excited for the combiners. Between the 3, they will cost less than a single CW combiner, and I don't mind the simplicity of these figures. I watched the reviews on them, and I enjoy them.

Chuck actually said something really good too in his Bee review, something along the lines of "meant for younger audience, but still fun, affordable, and no combiner lean either"

Besides, with TLK and MP's taking up my summer, I am ok with waiting to find the TR wave 5 and RiD Twinferno wave/combiners

Dalton? 3 combiners, I thought besides Bee, Menasor, and Galvatronus we were getting Bruticus too.

Bruticus is only speculation for now. Superion seems more likely with Skyhammer and Stormshot.

It'd be nice if we could get some original Combiners, repeating early RiD's trend of introducing new characters rather than repeating old ones :(

I was running with the 3 confirmed for the moment.

And yeah, that is my name

The opposite for me. I was looking forward to Menasor, but changed my mind after watching reviews. Looks overly simplistic to me. Maybe if I can pick it up on sale for a good price, I'll bite and give it to my kids. I don't think I'd enjoy it though.

Directly from the floor at San Diego Comic Con 2017, site owner Seibertron is providing us images of the display area at the Hasbro booth where they had a nice display of Transformers Robots In Disguise Toys. What we can see for now are some previously revealed toys such as the Bumblebee, Menasor and Galvatronus Combiners and one new Legion reveal: Twinferno. It is written that Legion Twinferno will be in Wave 3 2017, along with Cyclonus and Heatseeker.

We have images of the display below and you can reach the full gallery of said display by clicking any image.

These are only the initial images, of course, expect the full Seibertron.com treatment as the event continues with actual reveals across the weekend, with the Hasbro Breakfast Press event Thursday morning, panel coverage on Friday and Saturday, and follow-ups with official images and more!

Y'know, I wasn't feeling Deluxe RID Twinferno, but I definitely think I'll spring for the legend one. Nice little pocket-money bot who looks pretty good. :D

There is also mini Cyc. Altmode looks really nice. Gonna need to see him out of the box to see how the detail is.

Good to see that we finally have a toy of Saberhorn, even if it is just the bottom half of a Crash Combiner. I wonder if they'll bring back Saberhorn and Bisk to have this Combiner in the show?
