To promote the new Kre-O Transformer warriors, which feature our favourite characters in eclectic getups, Kre-O teamed up with Stoopid Buddy Studios for a cute promotion. This video, found on the Official Transformers youtube channel, features Samurai Optimus Prime disguised as aTruck Hibachi Chef.

When I saw it, I just couldnt resist. Its even more awesome how its actually a video from Hasbro instead of a fan made one. Some of those marketting people know how to have a fun time.

These Kre-O videos are getting a lot better.

my local is sold out of these, I had hoped for a restock, but based on previous Kre-o blind bags, I'll be either SOL, or they will get 5 boxes in 3 months time.

Today, we have a sighting from me, Autobot032! I found these two Kre-O sets at Family Dollar in Ashtabula Ohio, one featuring Bumblebee and the other featuring Megatron!

Oddly enough, both Kreons make an appearance on the packaging, but there's no mention of them being included with their respective sets.

Both sets are filled with random pieces so you can make custom builds and seem to share the Megatron and Bumblebee color schemes, but it clearly states that pieces and colors may vary, so don't be surprised if it doesn't come as advertised.

Bumblebee features 77 pieces and Megatron's checks in at 88, both are priced at $5.00 each and are available now at Family Dollar stores.

A032- Those may be decent for just getting bricks in the same colors as Kreons. Did you pick those up to take a look at?

Lol, the price sticks make it look like don't have arms.

I saw these in a Big Lots in Los Angeles, but with Cliffjumper and Barricade on the boxes, for $5 each. I didn't get them.

The Barricade and Cliffjumper versions are repacks of the original sets. So maybe these aren't just random parts?

Too bad these aren't any of the new stuff. Kre-O has basically stopped here since the first AoE wave. It's nice to see signs of it coming back, but these aren't really anything I need or want.

Oh nice. I'll grab one or both of those sets if I see 'em.

Anybody have an image of what parts are in the Megatron and Bee boxes?

According to a post on FB complete with screen cap of the email from Hasbro, Kre-O is done in the US and the new sets for RID will be released in Canada only.

I'd buy these for $5 just to get the random bricks.

The Kreon is just a bonus.

Huh, I saw that Kre-o sets looked to be restocked at Wal-mart on the week-end but didn't take that close a look at them, maybe I should have.

Battle Changers Wave 2 are available on eBay, Hound and Soundwave. I'm not touching them since I wanna wait for Drift, and to see if the builds are a little more stable.

LOL...I can see why they cancelled this line in the US. Transformer pirates......really? LOl... I mean come on. Megatron has a damn handkerchief around his mouth. Yep, because no one would suspect Megatron to rob banks and tie women to railroad tracks. I am surprised he doesn't have a handlebar mustache........

I surely hope they fired the moron that came up with this idea.

Heh, it's like they couldn't decide what to call the "Wiseguy" versions and just used the multi-language format to give them EVERY name.

I can also appreciate "Far Quest Hound". Sounds like a sci-fi series.
