Looks like Japan will finally be getting Kreons! Takara Tomy will be releasing Transformers Kreons from capsule vending machines. The first wave appears to feature the some of the cast from the classic 1984 lineup using the some of the first kreons molds. BBTS has them up for preorder here. Weirdly relieved and disappointed there are no new characters. One one hand I don't have to be taunted with oversees exclusives, on the other hand I still like seeing new bots even if I can't get them. Hmm...

I wonder what they'll look like. The image above just seems like they grabbed whatever available stock photos they had. At least, I'm assuming it's not a weird mix of Customs without the extra parts and first-series Kreons.

I am not a Kreon fan, but I like the idea of having a large set of these guys especially if it were of the entire first season cast.

Why can't American capsule vending machines dispense awesome stuff like this?

200 yen is about $1.66? GOOD DEAL. I wonder how much they'd charge for the extra parts "transforming" ones.
