Well the thing is Bruticus is going to be a 2016 figure, which means there's room for new molds on him.
Onslaught retool of Hot Spot is still the most likely.
Alpha Bravo was always Vortex.
Swindle, Brawl, and Blast Off could all be new molds. Plus whoever their sixth member is.

I'd rather have them use Firefly instead of Skydive for a sixth Bruticus member, because we still haven't seen his alternate vehicle parts yet. I'm going by the "2 vehicles, 3 heads" rule for that ;)

For those curious, here's what I have so far (yet again).

First name is the original release,
Second name is the vehicle pretool,
Third is the head pretool
Completed lineups are in bold (meaning they shouldn't be able to be used for more)

Skydive - Air Raid - ???
Alpha Bravo - ??? - Blades
Firefly - ??? - Sling/Quickslinger
Drag Strip - Mirage - ???
Offroad ("Ruckus") - First Aid - Ironhide
Dead End - Streetwise - Wildrider/Brake-Neck
Breakdown - Sunstreaker - ???
Rook - ??? - ???

Just all theories mind you, but if the Protectobots and Technobots are upcoming, We can already make some provisional mold pairings:

Brawl - Nosecone
Lightspeed - Prowl
Afterburner - Groove
Alpha Bravo - Vortex (alternate vehicle parts)

It all comes down to Unite Warriors Guardian (Defensor) and CW Prowl.

You may be on to something there, JelZe. I still hope that if thy use an Arialbot in Bruticus, they use Skydive. I hate the Fireflight mold.

Do we actually have proof that Bruticus is going to be a thing next year?

Listings for Onslaught and Scattershot were uncovered a month ago. Here's the news item:

Combiner Wars Onslaught and Shockwave figures revealed in store database, posted February 12th

For convenience sake:

Autobot Pipes (63050936835)
Chop Shop (63050936836)
Shockwave (63050936837)
Buzzsaw (63050936838)
Scattershot (63050936922)
Onslaught (63050936923)

Before anyone asks: 4 Legends, 2 Voyagers in that list, supposedly. Shockwave being a Legends Class does make sense, as Bruticus once wielded him (and shot him out of his cannon afterwards) in the G1 cartoon.

I skipped on Microblaze because with these interesting remolds showing up, I'm guessing, sooner or later Hasbro will give us a CW Bruticus.

I don't own either mold yet since I am waiting on the takara version. Would you mind telling me what is so different between the two?

Also, Jelze, how do we know that Mirage will be more of a retool than just the head?

I'm going by the standard fare of the second release being the vehicle retool. But that's no guarantee as Blades and Alpha Bravo have proven.

My Walmart is still full of AOE and nothing but.

That's a shame. There's alot of aoe craps at my walmart, at least three pegs dedicated to deluxe.(no aoe voyagers thankfully.

Now I found them case fresh, I bought all four stunticons I needed, plus a friend of mine bought air raid.

At walmarts. Look for a pallet of toys just sitting around the toy aisle. Usually towards the entrance of their backroom in the toy section, cause I also got lucky and found a case of the leader megatrons.

Firefly on top, Skydive on bottom.

I don't like Firefly because to me, he feels rather loose. Not like loose joints, but you shake him and he kinda rattles, as if he's not screwed in all the way. He has the worst back kibble of all the Arialbots, and his wings don't really go anywhere, like he's wearing half a jet on his back. At least with Skydive and Air Raid, their wings fold up and do something.

And this is somewhat arbitrary, but his hands are the same piece and color of his arms, with no clear stopping/starting point for either.

Now, this is all just me pretty much. But even though Combiner Wars Deluxes all have a very similar, simple-yet-satisfying transformation, I find the Arialbots rather repetitive, as their all guys with jets on their backs. That's why I like Alpha Bravo so much, because he breaks up the monotony. And I also plan on skipping Slingshot, because he is the same mold as Firefly.

And yes, I understand that the Stunticons are also all spot cars of some kind, but they have pretty unique silhouettes.

And this is all my own opinion, too.

Actually, Drag Strip is a Formula 1-esque race car. And Offroad is a truck. So is Menasor.

So, in short, not sport cars.

But I know what you mean. I only picked up Alpha Bravo for laughs, and I MIGHT get the other Arialbots later. But for now, STUNTICONS ALL THE WAY, BABY! :michaelbay:

To be fair, I'd be disappointed if he -didn't- have those things. I'm glad he does, but that's more the nostalgia talking than anything practical in all likelihood.

But you did pick him up, and that's the most important part!

How is that different from Skydive though? Nose drops to mid back, wings fold back... They look like the exact same kibble/jet-on-back transformations to me...

I'll admit Skydive is my favorite just for the colors I think. I'm not a fan of the way firefly's tail fin folds up... just kind of awkward and loose on mine, but the wings seem the same on both.

First Sighting of Wave One Combiner War toys with Comics

Thanks to TF fan Quinton, we now have a first image and sighting of a Combiner Wars wave 1 toy (Dragstrip) in its new packaging. While the United States got the international version of the Combiner Wars wave 1 toys, meaning they came with a card instead of an English language comic, the wave 2 toys all came with comics. Hasbro had stated in an interview with Seibertron that the plan was to release the wave 1 toys again with the comics. Finally, one such product was found. Here is what Quinton told us:

I was at Walmart in Harlingen Tx and noticed that the Dragstrip that is coming out with the Stunticon wave also has comicbook with it. This is new since Dragstrip came in wave one without the comicbook.

With Skydive, the wings are attached to his shoulders, and move higher in robot mode with the arms/chest. On Firefly, they don't even fold back very far.

Still adding comics with the toys. I thought Hasbro was over that. I also didn't know that Wave 2 had comic books with the figures.

Since today is "lets take everything literally day" Ill be 39 in October. Slingshot will be turning 31. How old is the Alpha Bravo comic ? ;)

39? Then seriously, grow up. Your obsession and disdain for a children's toy is not very becoming of someone your age.

But really, we get it. You don't like Alpha Bravo. You've made your point clear across two threads. Please drop it and spare us your repetitive diatribe and so we can actually discuss other Combiner Wars stuff without being interrupted by your Alpha Bravo bashing. It's bordering on trolling.

Superion was released more or less December 2014. Menasor March 2015. Would it be safe to assume Devastator on June 2015? Then maybe we could expect Defensor on September 2015?

Concerning AB, he might just turn out to be the most wanted collectible figure 20 years from now.

Found all wave 2 (breakdown, off-road,skydive, and deadend) at a Des Moines Walmart today. They weren't in the checkout system yet but got all four (with comics) for 14.88 a piece thanks to manager override. No motor master though. Also saw dragstrip with comic there as well.

I did get one with loose joints, but I don't know how common that is.
